    Do you think you could've gotten away with 1 hepvo valve after the T?

    Do the HepvO valves prevent water from running back through the pipe?

    • @justkeeponmoving7727
      @justkeeponmoving7727  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      John, Thanks for your question. Yes it does prevent water from running back through the pipe. HepvO's site states... The HepvO valve will perform under back pressures which are ten times greater than those experienced in a typical soil and waste system. You can read this and more at their website: hepvo.com/hepvo-waterless-valve/
      We have been very happy with this valve. It has performed very well. We have always traveled in a warm climate area, but if we were to travel in a cold climate area we would personally insulate the valve since we have it outside. Thank you for taking your time and watching our videos. We appreciate it!

      If you are asking where we store the Rhino Waste Holding Tank while it is not in use, You can see more about the tank and where we store it on our video here: th-cam.com/video/FCLyEvcLcLI/w-d-xo.html If this is not what you are asking, please let me know. Thanks for watching and asking that question.

    As a plumber, P traps are for sewer gas. You are not connected to sewer so those little rubber flow values are useless. In a closed system like this you dont need a P trap or rubber valve as there is no sewer gas to come up pipe.

      Hi David. Thanks for commenting and you are right. You do not need a P Trap or rubber valve unless you are hooking to a septic/sewer system. There are times when we stay at a camp ground that offers these options and this is the reason we went with the rubber flow valves to keep those gases from coming into the trailer. I should have mentioned in the video that we do connect to full services every so often. I am glad that you mentioned this and that you took your time to bring it up! Thanks for watching! Hope you have a nice day.

      Don't you think odors can form in his tank and transmit back thru the sink without the trap?
