SSFC fan and I agree. Galaxy and Seattle are in each other's way every year. Portland is our rival because of proximity, culture, and history. Galaxy is our rival because the west ain't big enough for the two of us and I love it. Playoffs are going to be FUN this year.
MLS is really starting to look good esp with this match up. Wish LA played better D, that second goal they looked frozen, the first goal should have been cleared instead of barely knocking it outside of the box. Overall great fútbol though! Great win for Morris and Seattle!
The clips seemed random at points. Nearly the entire first half could be cut and it wouldn't be missed, yet it receives equal time in highlights that the 2nd half (with 6x the goals) does... I'm cool with 15 minutes, but it's got to be the right 15 minutes.
The pitch is shared with a NFL team. Gridiron footbal 10x + 20x real football would leave a mud pitch by mid November if they started with grass. I'd prefer separate stadiums with grass pitches, but I don't have a billion dollars to buy a team. Also, starting in October, rain is a nearly daily occurence in Seattle. Draining an artificial surface is easier than a grass field.

In the end, we have turf because it's cheaper to maintain than it would be to keep a grass pitch in playing condition for 20 soccer & 10 gridiron games every year, most concentrated in the fall. Unpopular opinion: I hate Zlatans play I feel Like he plays really lazy and is a poor leader in the first half of this game all I could notice was how he was yelling and visibly frustrated at his teammates in the first half. I understand he scores A ton of goals but the offense is also built around him
I believe personally if he played all his matches like he does against LAFC it's very possible Galaxy would be in the lead for supporters shield. However he checks out for matches at a time in terms of determination to get a win. I've observed him just walking around in multiple matches
Its kinda funny to watch him play and see how frustrated he gets with the obviously sub-par players in the MLS. I would be frustrated too if I went from playing with the best to meh
I was at the game and was excited to watch Zlatan, but he just kinda moped around, until the ball got close to him, then he broke into a brisk jog...I guess he scored, but I feel like any striker who is being used as the center of the offense would eventually score 🤷🏼♂️
This was one of the few games I missed this season, somehow I had never seen the highlights. Had me asking myself "wait, did the Sounders lose this game?" at times.
I'm not a fan from any of these teams but I'm happy L.A. Galaxy lost because they have Zlatan in their team and he is an old big mouth, he should retired. He scores goals because it's the MLS, simple!
