What is this dangerous tackle BS. That is the way I was taught to tackle. our Sports Master always said If you are going to tackle, tackle so they stay tackled.
They brought in approximately 4 or 5 years ago a 2 action rule for tackling, so if there's 2 actions to bring someone down then it was deemed a dangerous tackle. I think it's pretty finicky too. It was because many players were getting ko'd by slinging slam tackles, funny thing is if you can do that in 1 action then that is ok. Ever since the NFL got sued for brain type injuries (concussions/CTE) back in 2011 that cost them 750 million, the NRL, AFL and other contact sport organisations from around the world have been bringing in rules to protect the head, I'm actually still amazed they still have the hip and shoulder in the AFL especially after the NRL removing the shoulder charge.
3:28 another moment ruined by Kelli Underwood

Tom Jonas has taken the position of the worst captain port Adelaide has ever had, now ahead of Dominic Cassisi
