You started the day in the Spirit, praising and giving thanks to our Great God... the day ended with record miles and no injuries, cell phone service, getting to talk with family, a great unplanned place to stay in, great food from a closed restaurant, and a great room... did I miss anything? What a fantastic day. There wasnt a single thing that built character, but a whole complete day of it. It was all too good to lable any single part. Little bear, just want to say, I watched you from the beginning, when you were a bit shy and timid. It is such a pleasure to watch you become so you in so many ways. Watching a butterfly come out of the cacoon and spread her wings. Its gonna take a lot to stop you guys as you take diversity and turn it into oppertunities. Fun to watch.

Wow I thought a video over 40 minutes long….but it was a wonderful one filled with testimony with God, crossing over to Virginia, beautiful family communications especially Little Bears talking to her siblings, especially with her big brother ( My big brother was my hero when I was growing up so I was relating with you Little Bear)! Just an amazing journey. I found two interesting conversations today with you Mama Bear and they are the echoing of the thunder you heard during the night. I’ve camped in the Catskills and the Adirondacks and yes thunderstorms are immense but a large part of that is continuation of the thunder echoing through the mountains. It’s both beautiful and frightening at the same time. Does it remind you of when the rockets blast off here on the Space Coast and can hear the roar of the rocket breaking through the sound barrier many times and it last for minutes! That is so cool! The next item is the stone barricade you came across while on the trail. I’m pretty sure that was a land boundary of the person ( farmer) who originally owned the land there. Many years ago when immigrants came over and purchased their land they cleared the trees and picked up rocks so it was easier to till the land for crops so the rocks were put on their property lines. My GGGFather came over from Ireland. He was a stone mason and made many stone walls while journeying from Philadelphia to his future home in Susquehanna County. His farm land had a beautiful stone wall around it. So you and Little Bear will start see a lot of these stone walls when you venture North! Sorry I was a ‘little’ long winded there 😂. Please never take it for granted. Mama Bear, YOU have told me you love me through your AT videos more than my own family ever has. My mom tells me she hates me and all her problems are because of me. I wish I had people like you in my life ❤😢
GOD loves you. I had a rough child hood somewhat, with my earth dad and all, parents got divorced and all, and such.
When I came back to GOD a few years ago, I felt HIS love pouring in and on me, and I know HE loves me. 🩵🩷💙💜🧡❤️💜🩵🩷💙🧡❤️. So HE loves you super super much!!
I don't have a family either. I feel very alone in this world. I have followed MB and LB from the very start of their AT journey, which has given me some comfort because they are fun to watch and gives me something to look forward to every day. ❤

Your channel is growing so fast! I have a question for one of your Q&A if you dont mind. Do you have a budget for your hike? You and little bear stay at the most beautiful inns and cabins, and eat delicious looking food. I know thru hiking isnt cheap. Did you save for the hike? Do you make enough from yourube to sustain the hike without using your savings? I find this intereting.

Thank you! We’re having a great time! Yes, we have a budget and we saved for over 2 years for this adventure. We stay in a lot of nice places, but if you’ve been following along from the beginning, some have been less than luxurious. 😂

Thank you MB. I've really been struggling on my weekend warrior hikes because my husband and daughter aren't with me. The guilt of being away tears me up. They don't enjoy it though, and have no qualms about staying home while I'm gone for a few days at a time. I had a wise long-term backpacker tell me that it's a selfish act, but it's also selfish of me not to go and do what fills me with joy so I can be happier when I'm home. Sorta my as in... if my cup isn't full, it can't spill over.
Absolutely! You deserve to do things that make you happy. And it’s ok the rest of your family chooses not to join…it’s not their thing. That’s cool, too. We each have our interests and passions and it’s awesome when we can support each other in pursuing them. Happy trials! 💙🙏🏼
