Motorcycle Trip: CAN WE BRING ALL THIS?!

  • Packing for a long motorcycle trip can be daunting, especially when you throw in the fact that you’re going to be moto tent camping as well. There’s a lot of gear to bring for a long distance motorcycle ride and you have to be selective in what you take because of weight and space restrictions.
    Though our Bushtec motorcycle trailer allows us more packing opportunities, you still can’t bring everything.
    Join us as Rich covers all our motorcycle traveling gear and the first leg of our 5500 motorcycle road trip as we leave home base and make our way to Tucumcari, New Mexico.
    Till next time! Ride safe!

    Even more than the riding bikes and traveling... I enjoy seeing you two having fun together and enjoying each other. I wish I had a partner who could do that with me.

    I use a Coleman 425C white gas stove but I camp in my hmmwv in the Louisiana woods for work. I also have a Helinox Ultra Lite cot that I love.

    I am addicted to your videos, road travels, camp dinning and especially your organizational provisioning. I’ve been adding your ideas to my RV/camping list. Can you share what essentials you keep in both your tank bags? I’m actually watching all your videos again.

    Love what you guys are doing. I’m wanting to do similar and pull a trailer with my Roadglide. Never pulled a trailer,, is there a big learning curve, harder to control bike? Please share your experience and things learned if you can. Thanks for inspiring others to get out and enjoy!

    Just come across ur video. Very good video. I want to do some long distance motorcycle riding also. Did notice a big scar on ur right knee. Did u have it replaced. It looks like mine and had it replaced.

      @@TwoWheelsBigLife I’m glad it worked for u sir. VA did mine and now my left leg is quarter inch longer than right. Now hip is worn out. But anyway i envy y’all. Taking long motorcycle camping trips. Keep up the good work.

    Only thing missing is proper motorcycle riding gear. Even a slow speed fall with your street clothes could be deadly.

    Just curious what’s total weight of your trailer?

    • @TwoWheelsBigLife
      @TwoWheelsBigLife  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      350lbs is the max weight. I believe I’m right at that. Tongue weight is 46lbs So I’m under the 15%max. She pulls good and haven’t ever had any issues. I’ve pulled her about 20k miles.
