I've been eyeballing this L-39 for a minute or two, Martyn. I may pull the trigger, a lot of pilots really like this one (I do too). Quite a shame it was damaged thru shipping, I know you'll get it sorted out, but still. The scheme looks pretty good on video, not so much on the website. Good stuff my friend, AirHammer out!!
Hi Airhammer - yes it does look nice - Aileron fixed, but it was not the one I paid for and they (the retailer) have provided replacements that I need to swap over before I maiden it .. Martyn Out !
it's hard to say as the box could have been miss-handled during transit - they do say if you check the contents at delivery time you can make a claim - but my Delivery man will not wait for me to unpack a box to see if its all OK - Lucky for me it was a simple Repair. - Mind you it did have other problems .. but thats for another video....
Nice EDF Martyn and a totally different livery to other L39’s I’ve seen. I’m sure you’ll easily fix the damage and have her assembled and in the air soon 🫡
Hi Sean - I like the livery, hench the wait and I think it was worth it, the Aileron has been repaired, and she has been assembled - however - it turns out not to be the aircraft I paid for, and after several emails between the retail and myself - we have finally got a place where I can make the necessary changes to its power system and once done - Maiden it.. @@seanbarrie8713 Hi Sean - yes indeed - it should have been a 6s but it would not throttle on a 6S,!! - only worked on 4S - took me months to get the retailer to finally do something about it -

I might do a video on the issues I have had with it - and I still need to do some work on it before I can Maiden it
It's an awesome flyer. Takes off nice and lands nice. I use a 6s 4000mah and get about a 5min flight
Turns out this is not what I paid for - but have been send a complete power system that I now need to swap into it - cheers
