Camping on Broken Bow Lake (Hochatown, OK)

Camping for 2 nights on Broken Bow Lake in Hochatown, Oklahoma. We brought our dogs along for the short little journey out of the city. We enjoyed hiking, the local Brewery (Beaver’s Bend), and admiring the lovely scenery we never thought would be only 3 hours away from Dallas. We camped in Beaver’s Bend Campground in the Grasshopper section. This was on the lake side, not the river side. It was nothing short of beautiful and we enjoyed every second of it. Beware of raccoons at night. They scared the **** out of us because the dogs would bark into pitch black when they were climbing trees and such.
