Thanks for the video. - At 1:30 instructor is on the left lane which is designated for following the road (with a straight arrow marking on the road), so if you are following the road, you should not need to signal left or right. In other words, his intention was already established by his choice of the left lane (following the road). On the other hand, if he had been on the right lane (which is marked on the road as straight and right turn, it would have been necessary for him to use left indicator/signal to reveal his intention of following the road as it bends to left. I know, perhaps I am nitpicking, but my argument is of pure technicality. I guess he was being extra cautious.
