    If you "can't stand" premier's, fear not as I will only use them on weekend videos from time to time. If you like them let me know! Let's meet a half hour before the start to chat!

    It lives up to it's name as a Buch Ranger
    I got two of them one for each pocket.
    It bit me when I tried to drop shut mine so I'll be using two hand on this mini beast.
    👍 All I did toi e is ajust the pocket so it wouldn't be so tight now it is a fantastic carry blade & EDC. 😊

    I'll be getting one soon and I'm not going to do anything to mine , I'm just hoping the back spacer is aluminum. 🤔
    You the only one that even mentioned it. ⚔️👍

    What an excellent review of the Bush Ranger, really appreciated the talking points you made about the handle, blade, ergos and so on. This is certainly at the top of the want list from Cold Steel right along side the Code 4. Thanks.

    Excellent, thanks for letting us know about this knife. I'm a Cold Steel fan. I just got a CS Voyager XL Tanto and it's great. The Bush Ranger looks awesome also.

    Absolutely love mine, Its my edc. Super sharp out the box, bevel is not perfect but I dont care as I kind of abuse the knife and got it for an incredible sale. Great video!!

    This looks like one of the best CS have ever made... esp because the blade to handle ratio is not completely out of proportion. Just wish that handle was OD but brown is OK.

    👍 Enjoyed your video. How would you compare the Cold Steel Bush Ranger to the Cold Steel AD10?

    • @JohnnyJuke
      @JohnnyJuke  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hmmm...I would rely on the BR in the woods over the AD10 (Mine is hollow grind). Cant stand the AD10 pocket clip however.

    • @ROE1300

      @@JohnnyJuke Pocket clips belong on pens & pencils not knives, plus both knives are too large for pocket carry IMHO so I would remove the pocket clip from either knife.
      Why would you rely more on the Bush Ranger in the woods than the AD10? I am very interested in your comments on this consideration as “in the woods” is where the knife would be used.
      Just FYI, my current go-to folding knives are the Buck 110 drop point with 5160 steel and the original SOG Tomcat that I have owned since they were introduced (not sure of the steel, probably something similar to 440C given its age).

    Cold Stell has 2nds of these on sale for $20...I really like the Demko thumb-plate and wish CS would offer those on all of their long (4/14 in & up) blade folders...If It was 20 years younger, still working at Sikorsky, I'd get a bud in the machine shop to make me one for my 6 in " Hold Out...they prolly could be cast from a polymer to fit just about every folder with a thumb stud...

    • @JohnnyJuke
      @JohnnyJuke  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      20 bucks? I wouldn't hesitate. The thumb plate could be larger (imho)

      Don’t be. They are durable and reliable for the intended application of this tool.

    I think it looks fine as is, just have to be careful when fidgeting with the thing like any other tool lol(but I can see how some would be concerned at the same time). I don't mind intros when they are interesting like these haha. I dig the new logo!! What are you using to record with, camcorder? I dont know of much that can zoom so close and stay focused unless one has a macro lens on a camera. I like the geometry and shape of the blade, hmmm that's sort of what I was talking about before on the design(you know where Im going). Cant wait to see that! Hope you're well my friend and having a great weekend dude! Hmmm there's that word review again, are you really going there? Not that I mind

      Lol defiantly not going into review land. Fear not. The heat treat was successful and I finished just before a huge storm. I lost ALL the footage of the shaping and filing process DOH! I may have to do a collage video. Have a great Sat/Sun Walt! 9
