Listening to Yanni makes me believe there is still Hope for the Human race to change as his music transcends all boundaries of culture, race, and religious differences. We can at least agree on 1 thing his music is wonderful.
My six years old daughter wants to learn to play piano and today I decided to show to her my all time favorite pianist, artist, that with his music touches my soul, bringing a sense of peace and joy that I find it hard to describe with words. I hope his music can keep company to my daughter and maybe one day she can play his songs for me too. God bless you Yanni for all these years, together with your music.
For me Yanni is that Greek young guy that made me believe that anything is possible. Live At The Acropolis was really a waking point in my life. It was when i realised (through his music) that love, music, creativity and dreaming are major elements in our short life. Dare to dream people! Dare to dream and everything is possible. I was 6 when my parents were watching Live At The Acropolis and it forever shaped my appreciation for music. Until that point I had never heard music at such a scale. Maybe via a movie with an orchestral soundtrack, but I had never heard and SEEN music being played like that before. I couldn't comprehend musically what was going on, but I noticed the passion, and I heard it too. It was overwhelmingly intense and I loved it. After that night my parents bought a tape of that performance and we'd go for long car rides listening to it. I noticed how some songs would make me feel a certain way, calm, relaxed, comfortable, and even sleepy, and other songs made me feel excited, and full of energy. What they all had in common, though, was copious FEELINGS in general. Solemn, melancholic, happy, intense, hostile..the whole spectrum of human emotion was felt and explored by me all within a car ride with my parents, with me lying down in the back seat absorbing it all.

My father has just passed away due to covid-19. There are a lot of things I wanted to say to him, but I coudn't due to the protocol this decease demands. My soul is torn apart and, although this song hits me very hard, it is one of the reasons I believe I can interact with my father somehow, someday. The way your music talks to us makes me believe we can talk to our beloved ones which have gone. Truly this is a wonderful piece of work. Left alone by itself, it might be a bit harder for myself to appreciate it. Many do not know how to write music "properly" or "read" music. I am one of them. Early in life i was taught classical guitar for this reason or purpose, it was not easy, so i was more attracted to theory. The structure of it.
This wonderful musician performed in India when i was 4. Over the years as I have kept coming back to his music, I have wondered, what magnificence and glory it would have been....Yanni and Taj. Ever since I have come to understand music, I have hoped that one day, he will come to India again and grace us with his presence and music and that day, I will be ready, no longer a 4 year old child, to witness music personified !!

When I first heard him, I couldn’t believe what I was hearing, he was so enlightening, so new and out of this world. He is a gift from God. I’ve seen him in concert and he’s wonderful. He’s a genius in his field of music.

That was the first yanni song I fell in love with back when I was about 13 years old , my mother used to play live at the acroppolis and a couple other yanni CD's pretty much daily just about and now 24 years later I love those first songs I heard just as much now as when I first heard them, actually I'd say I'm more grateful for his music now actually when I really get honest with myself , music has a life to itself , it can raise or lower your vibratory frequency depending on what type of music and notes and rythems the music is made up of . Yannis music raises my frequency higher than any other music Ive ever come across honestly , very grateful for such a talented man to live and create music in our lifetime , beautiful.
I been listening to Yanni since I was a baby. Thank you mom and dad for using his music to help me sleep. He became one of the most influential composers for my music. He changed my life. I was so thankful to attend his Acropolis Anniversary tour. He grew his hair back and had the mustache. I am going for the same look. Yanni is the best!

I'd never Imagined this song could get any better until I heard this primary form version with just him and his grand piano , no other instruments , it's absolutely brilliant , one of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard in my life , it's a true masterpiece by yanni. I wish I could tell him how immensely I appreciate his music and devotion to it for it's had a great effect on my life and has given me hope and strength during some very very difficult and saddening times of my life. Like most music I develope an ear for I will be a fan for life. I wish so badly I could afford the tickets to go see him live. I am a pianist/composer who has played professionally since I was 13 (1970), who's music has recently been featured in one of the Panasonic 'smart' speaker systems Japan, and Yanni is my favorite composer too! He is AMAZING composer.
Same here brother I became engulfed and enchanted by his music in about 92-93 because my mother really got big into his music and would play it loud in the living room almost every day, changed my perspective of music forever and I'm still listening to the same songs in 2019 as I was in 1993 and they've only gotten better as they age.
Same here! I started listening to Yanni in '84 on cassette tapes. Here in Los Angeles, there is a radio station called 94.7 The Wave that came to existence about that time to play new age music. Around midnight, they would have an hour program called Night Tracks where they would feature the latest album and played in its entirety. One night they played Niki Nana and I remember the excitement of hearing the brand new album, every song so good. I was a secret lover of new age music until I saw Live At The Acropolis on a plane trip to Buenos Aires in '93 and his music came to life. Then I knew the whole world loved him (Linda Evans in the audience). It wasn't until 2019 that I got to see Yanni live, and he performed with just a piano and I fell more in love to hear what must have been how he played as he composed the music 30 years ago! I like it more than with the full orchestra, but he said he was coming back in 2020 with a full entourage. Sorry for the long reply, this man's music stirs my soul.

This is my favourite. What brought me to Yanni, was "One Man's Dream".
That was the first yanni song I fell in love with back when I was about 13 years old , my mother used to play live at the acroppolis and a couple other yanni CD's pretty much daily just about and now 24 years later I love those first songs I heard just as much now as when I first heard them, actually I'd say I'm more grateful for his music now actually when I really get honest with myself , music has a life to itself , it can raise or lower your vibratory frequency depending on what type of music and notes and rythems the music is made up of . Yannis music raises my frequency higher than any other music Ive ever come across honestly , very grateful for such a talented man to live and create music in our lifetime , beautiful.

I been listening to Yanni since I was a baby. Thank you mom and dad for using his music to help me sleep. He became one of the most influential composers for my music. He changed my life. I was so thankful to attend his Acropolis Anniversary tour. He grew his hair back and had the mustache. I am going for the same look. Yanni is the best!
Everytime I anticipate a change in the melody, it stays on the same tune and the feelings stay inside me, I think that this is what you tried to deliver in this song that you can't say every thing (If only i could tell you)

When i was a baby my parents put me to bed listening to this amazing talented man. I'm so happy to still be able to sleep peacefully to his music. He's just so wonderful and full of magic. I find his work a blessing a dream come true. Yanni is one of my favorites and I'm proud to be a fan 🖤

I'd never Imagined this song could get any better until I heard this primary form version with just him and his grand piano , no other instruments , it's absolutely brilliant , one of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard in my life , it's a true masterpiece by yanni. I wish I could tell him how immensely I appreciate his music and devotion to it for it's had a great effect on my life and has given me hope and strength during some very very difficult and saddening times of my life. Like most music I develope an ear for I will be a fan for life. I wish so badly I could afford the tickets to go see him live. He just played only an hour from me about 4 months ago and I had to stay home because I cannot afford to go it was so utterly disappointing.

not such a household name, talking to people in conversations and so forth, people
would be talking about their favorite musicians . They would
ask me, who is your favorite musician? Id say Yanni..
I am a pianist/composer who has played professionally since I was 13 (1970), who's music has recently been featured in one of the Panasonic 'smart' speaker systems Japan, and Yanni is my favorite composer too! He is AMAZING composer.
Same here brother I became engulfed and enchanted by his music in about 92-93 because my mother really got big into his music and would play it loud in the living room almost every day, changed my perspective of music forever and I'm still listening to the same songs in 2019 as I was in 1993 and they've only gotten better as they age.
Same here! I started listening to Yanni in '84 on cassette tapes. Here in Los Angeles, there is a radio station called 94.7 The Wave that came to existence about that time to play new age music. Around midnight, they would have an hour program called Night Tracks where they would feature the latest album and played in its entirety. One night they played Niki Nana and I remember the excitement of hearing the brand new album, every song so good. I was a secret lover of new age music until I saw Live At The Acropolis on a plane trip to Buenos Aires in '93 and his music came to life. Then I knew the whole world loved him (Linda Evans in the audience). It wasn't until 2019 that I got to see Yanni live, and he performed with just a piano and I fell more in love to hear what must have been how he played as he composed the music 30 years ago! I like it more than with the full orchestra, but he said he was coming back in 2020 with a full entourage. Sorry for the long reply, this man's music stirs my soul.

I was listening to this wile on a cruise in Alaska..and every note fit O so perfectly in to what i was seeing wile we were in Glacier bay National park Just breath taking ...the Music and the the mountains and glaciers ....it was almost an out of body experience ..In a very good Way ..I will never forget it ...Thank you Yanni for sharing your talent with us ..........A huge thumbs Up
