Those devices are known as exoskeleton assist equipment. They enhance movement and strength to make it easier to work above your head (in this case) for hours at a time. In another video BMW workers are shown using a Noonee device (there is a web site and You Tube videos) that is strapped to the body and serves as a chair when needed. That video is several years old. I would be curious to know if they are still in use.
