This is like one of the few times I've seen Glenn Danzig actually giddy like a kid in an interview, and reciprocating the interviewer's energy. It's refreshing to see.
How many have you seen? It's only on the popular interviews where he's actually being a dick, but in those interviews the interviewer just so happens to be a dick too, he'll treat you like you treat him, which is only fair.
Years ago I met Glenn in a shopping mall, and this is basically the Glenn that I met. Really friendly, enjoying conversation, and really cordial. Everyone think's I'm crazy when I contradict the stereotypical Danzig ego story. It's nice to see this, he was one of the nicest famous people I have met to date.
I met Glenn back in the 80s at his concert of the first album and like u said so down to earth cool. He even yelled at me and then laughed cause I had a Misfits shirt on and he said that's a bootleg. Like I knew that? I bought it in a store
He sold a box of old Creepy and Eerie magazines to a friend of mine years ago. Similar experience. Good guy. But he seems to show his grumpy side more often.
I saw the Misfits in Tampa this summer. I was amazed how happy Glenn was. He was joking with the audience throughout the show. Love to see this side of Glenn.
It seems like Glenn, Jerry and Doyle are having a great time together. Based on what I’ve heard, it sounds like it’s more than just business- they’re all friends again which it’s great after the decades of bad blood and legal issues. They only had to do 10 shows as per the 2016 legal agreement which they far exceeded that by choice. Glad they’re all on the same page and they’re on friendly terms again.

We were bummed and then here comes Danzig walking out of the shop. He chilled and talked with us for about ten minutes. What a great dude, in the end we were right on time!

Being able to see Glenn smile and laugh is such a rarity for me. being privileged enough to see that lets me know that no matter what the world throws at me I can overcome.

I miss the times before the last 2 decades. Even at 25 I felt like an old man for mostly listening to punk/alt music from the 70s, 80s, and 90s.

I saw that tour. They were at the Beaver County Community College in Western Pa. It was AWESOME. I was 19 years old, it was festival seating and got about 30' from the stage. Manson ROCKED! They opened up and nobody knew who they were. I became a fan of theirs that day. They walked around the crowd after the set. Korn was pretty much unknown also, I remember they literally got booed. Danzig was amazing. Just got to see them over the summer in Virginia. He is 68 now and still killing it.
I can't believe I didn't see this upload till now!. I remember having this on vhs back in the day and this being one of my favorite albums/era's of the band, though I always (we all do) wish that Chuck had been on the D4 tour and that the original band had been able to continue on till today or at least in my case until I got to see them live!.. Unfortunately I missed out on seeing the classic lineup partially due to age, no one I know being into the band and a shoulder injury where seeing a metal band (in an arm sling) simply wasn't an option..Then the band breaks up!..

Glen was born in 1955. The first Black Sabbath show in the US ever was in Asbury park NJ in 1970 so if that was the show he is talking about he was 14-15 years of age.
I´ve heard he was considered to be Wolverine in the 2000´s X-Men movie. And I can see it, for sure. I guess his acting is not very good but he looks even closer in appearance than Hugh Jackman. * Interesting that an X-Men comic is in the background as well
