They were not offered 80% of the land. They were offered 80% of only the West Bank. The terms also included things like Palestine can't have an army, Israel is still in total control of the electricity and water supply (so that Palestinians are always at the mercy of Israel), Illegal Israeli settlements will stay there, all the Israeli checkpoints INSIDE the West Bank will stay there, and Israel can invade Palestine whenever they deem it "necessary" (whatever that means). So after reading these terms, i think it should show you how Israel looks at making "peace" with Palestine. This is not peace, this is them trying to legalize their occupation of Palestine

So in 1948 the proposal was to give Palestinians 48% of the land and in 1993 the proposal was to give them 33.6%. Mind you, in 1946, the total amount of land purchased by Zionists in Palestine amounted to less than 7%. So in 1946 Palestinians owned roughly 93% of the land, come the 1948 war Israel controlled 77% of the land so an additional 70% was taken by force, and ever since then, that amount has been consistently dwindling.

So in 1946 Palestinians owned roughly 93% of the land, come the 1948 war Israel controlled 77% of the land so an additional 70% was taken by force, and ever since then, that amount has been consistently dwindling.
