गलत इनफार्मेशन मत दे भाई ...In case machine working as Generator rotor will rotate in anticlockwise and in case of Dc Motor rotar will rotate in clockwise direction
Anyone can move in any direction. That depends on you. To change the direction of rotation reverse the polarity of armature winding or field winding but not both. Now coming to your point, in DC motor, rotor rotates in the direction of electromagnetic torque developed while in DC generator we forcefully rotate the rotor in opposite direction of electromagnetic torque so as to produce emf.
