I have a very similar setup and have created custom views for the flow which works at the trigger condition and only brings in the few records from the view. How do I filter the get changes action because even when I have the trigger conditions set so there's only a handful of runs I'm encountering 1500 + actions on a 3 action flow.

Why cannot this be built in as a trigger condition instead?

What if you're trying to trigger an approval after a modified item field is filled in, then update the same item on the list after the approval?
