Exactly like many other daytime actors that get typecast as soap actors. As far as I'm concerned. Oscar worthy film actors would never be able to memorize many pages of dialogue every single day and act their butts off at the same time, real actors do daytime and stagework, movie thespians are way too overrated in my opinion..

I live in Canada and while I respect her political views they certainly don’t align with mine.
For starters Obamacare isn’t perfect but the Republicans have offered nothing to replace it. All they have tried to do is get rid of it. Trump kept touting his new healthcare care plan and infrastructure plan but would never say what it was.
In my family we often talk a lot about how it is in America ( at least the way we as outsiders see it). In Canada we go out of our way to help our fellow man. In America it feels like you’re on your own. You don’t get anything given to you. If you’re poor it’s your fault. You just didn’t work hard enough etc.
I do agree with one thing she said which is about the career politicians. There are far too many on both sides who are there to enrich themselves and their friends and have done little to nothing to help the common man. And she’s right when she says they tell us what they think we want to hear but when they get in they do the opposite of what they said they would do.
Plus people of colour and the LGBTQ have been marginalized for decades and I don’t see anything being done to address it on the right. When the horrible incident in Charlottesville happened where people had signs saying the most vile things the president should have condemned those acts and he didn’t.
She is very well spoken though and she did make some valid points
I am a fan of her acting and her performance as Sheila is always a treat. She knocks it out of the park every time.

While I don't agree with her politics, either, I do think Ms. Brown is a terrific actress and has helped create a really fascinating character -- a kind of lovable sociopath, if you will -- in Sheila Carter. Loved watching her character Sheila on the CBS soaps but I really could have done without the political convo. The reality is she took a side that clearly doesn't care about black people, women, children, or LGBTQ people. Many of us are a lot, if not all of those things simultaneously and are being marginalized in more ways than one. For her to spin this into small business/ big business rhetoric is disingenuous. A lot of what was going on and still is going on was about race. Black people not receiving justice, not receiving the same advantages our white counterparts get. Unfortunately many white people take for granted the privileges their whiteness affords them because they have never known a life without having things they have always been accustomed to. But black people and other people of color have to maneuver differently just to get half of what white privilege alone affords white people. Nice try Kimberlin but I'm not trying to hear none of that. Keep up the good work on your current stint on B&B though. 🌝

@@janRN. I didn't say she was, I said she took a side and position that presents themselves this way. I don't think she is racist or homophobic. Her political stance didn't help her and I think her leaning on small business rhetoric excuses what so many of us deal with on a daily basis. Yes I can get a job, but I still deal with racism on jobs. Outside of a job, policies on both sides that doesn't help me as a bl@ck person. She glossed over the pressing issues that so many of us face by calling it divisive when this country from the day of it's inception has always been divisive by keeping people who look like me out of everything. But I will give her credit for sticking to her guns even if I disagree.
