This truly is an amazing performance for the high drive/fast nerves that this dog has. Did you take note in how calm and solid his motion exercises were and yet how fast his retrieves, about-turns and send-away are? I'm amazed. Great dog, great training.
In respons of all the negative responds, this is truly a perfect obedience!! In my opinion the dog might be showing a bit more powerfull and driven, but hey....... what are we talking about! Congrates
@kgreej On heeling, left turn on time 1:27, dog is not concentrated and not heeling correctly. On heeling 0:45, speed change from running to slow should be immediate, it is not correct to slow down with medium speed steps in between fast and slow. Sit down 2:20 should be faster. Time code 3:42 and 4:21 dog does not take the basic position correctly, it makes corrections to it's position each time. On a world championship, this should not be more than 97-98 points.
@tadulo ...yes, your command is exactly on the point. I agree with you. Thats really a great demonstration , but not 100. ( ear position, licking, not free in the down movement..,..that avoiding bodylanguage is not what I want to see with a result of 100 Points.
Pressure?? check the dogs' confidence and focus as he is waiting at the sit (out of motion)....no fear - no unknown. This is to be aspired to, not criticised! too many of us are busy looking for drive drive drive (and speed) maybe because that always wows the novices - instead of actually TEACHING the exercises for real and attributing a value to them, not the audience response. I don't understand what his errors has anything to do with my doings? If you don't see any errors that is not my problem. He got 100 points and further debate is just irrelevant, only opinion against opinion. But it is certain that if you are not critical to one's errors, you will never be critical enough to your own errors. I propably never will get 100 points, but surely I will try. But anyway his dog is in excellent state of mind.
I see few errors in this performance. Not 100points but we all have to remember that judges dont always see everything. It is easier us to watch and judge in front of our computers. This is NOT a bad performance, not at all, but not perfect enough for 100points. I think it is impossible to get full points if totally judged by the strict rules. And it is so so so so stupid for ppl to attac against us who see some little mistakes in that performance. I would like to ask this handler to watch this video and i bet he would see some mistakes in this also. That is the way to get better and better as a handler to find even tiniest errors and then fix them. Im not watching these videos just for watching. I watch these to find their mistakes and what was amazing in their performance, just to learn more as a handler. Like i watch my own videos, what was good what was bad, what we have to train more and what not.
When i say not enough fr 100points but def enough for 98 or 99 points 5years ago. Today i think everything is more stirct. DOgs are etting stronger faster high driven. Judges expect more.
felicidades !!!!!!!!!!!
Ejercicio perfecto, para recordar y enseñar a muchos y por mucjos años !!!!

my opinion: this was not for 100 on WCH ...maybe judge saw it through the pink glasses :)
