California Walking Tour (Venice Canal Historic District)

This is a video walking tour of the Venice Canals in Venice, California. Built in 1905 by developer Abbot Kinney as part of Venice of America, the canals are located right off 25th Street in Venice Beach. The scenic area is primarily a neighborhood of houses that line four canals that each measure about a quarter-mile long. Situated along these canals are sidewalks and bridges for both tourists and the residents. Most of the homes are very lavish and come at a cost north of a million dollars.
