Simple answer is because the current members of the SS are far too iconic to kill Deadshot,Harley,Killer Croc are Batman related characters they will never die, Captain Boomerang is a core Flash villain can not be killed, Katana is one of DCs prominent Japanese heroes cant kill her, Amanda Waller again like Katana is a prominent DC African American Woman the only character who could get killed off and stay possibly dead is Enchantress but since she is some what of an original SS character is not likely going to happen.

Not to mention the amazing plan she came up with to get back the Squad. I thought Amanda was clever in JL vs SS but this is just over the bar!!!
