    RIP JOE. THERES ONLY BEEN A FEW ACCORDION PLAYERS AT THAT LEVEL IN IRISH TRAD ,THE GREAT PADDY O BRIEN , (TIPPERARY) FINBAR O DWYER (CORK) ON THE TWO ROW BOX. WHAT A LEGACY THESE GUYS HAVE LEFT FOR THE YOUNGER ONES TO FOLLOW. THANKFULLY THERE ARE SOME BRILLIANT YOUNGER PLAYERS TO KEEP IT LIT ,OLIVER DIVENNY. CONNOR CONNOLLY AND TOO MANY MORE TO MENTION FROM ALL AROUND THE COUNTRY. GREAT STUFF.

    The late great Joe Burke RIP has now joined with his musical hero and mine too.the late great Michael Coleman who changed the musical face of lreland forever really

    Thanks for posting these! Joe's presentation of the music was second to none - great, solid selections of tunes with the minimum of talk (laced with wit, however) to introduce each set. Well spoken too. The playing speaks for itself. RIP Mr. Burke! p.s. well done, Anne, another fine musician. Definitely deserves more recognition.
