From a promotional recording by the New York Staff Band of the Salvation Army, this is a piece by the well-known brass band composer Peter Graham: Las Lluvias Grandes
When it was introduced this piece was quite revolutionary but very welcome. I remember Clowne Band's weekend visit to Halifax Citadel Corps UK a good many years ago. Las Lluvia Grandes was one of their star turns and the Bandmaster prevailed upon me to join the percussion section for an encore during the Sunday evening wind up . Happy memories!
@@dwerdenI believe it's from the late 80's or early 90's, Brian Bowen as Staff Bandmaster and Tom Scheibner aka Bud Weiser (in joke from the Manchester Citadel Band tour of the Eastern Territory in May 1991) on Bass Trombone.

Is Gordon Ward on soprano cornet?
I have no idea. I THINK the video is from the early 1980's if that helps.
