Ngl I think the idea of getting books instead of level up is nice, I just really don’t like how you have to find them, which might make new players not like the game
when you level up, you still get the abilities, but you can get the abilities early if you find the book. also if you are already above lvl 20 you cant get the abilities from leveling, you have to get it from the books

i Agree! makes it really feel like you're learning from adventuring and finding these books that teach you new tricks,
it feels very effective lore-wise, but i do agree, i feel that maybe someone like julian can tell you hints about the book locations, or maybe show you directly (like a marker or showing the location in a picture)

if you already unlocked all abilities before Hudzell updated then the books wont appear and your abilities wont be affected

on dropdown you sorta just cut to an ambiguous building from the inside of a building, rather hard to follow your path when there isn't one :(
My goal wasnt to give a path, it was to show where they were and a way to get there. Thus, people learn the base mechanics of the game as they go along finding their own paths to get to the abilities. That was my main goal with this =]

No you still unlock them with lvl you can just find them early

theres another way up with some grates on the other side of the building, you could also climb onto the grate on the side that i went up

the funny part is that he uses grappler that you need 3rd rank for that you need to do time trial for that you need theese abilities for. afterboost seems imposible without grappler i just cant get on top of that god damn buulding
ok sorry if you got 2 notifications i deleted the other one because i was stupid. You can get it with only dash, you have to get on the crane you see at 2:56 and flail jump onto the building its hard. Its hard to explain in the comments but i hope this helped, it probably didnt since i'm 2 weeks late
