Yes, they are but it is not limited to before and after, it may have been caused during the commission of an offence for e.g. during the murder the marks of struggle by victim on the ground.

---- Facts which are not in issue but connect with fact in issue in such a way that it form the part of same transaction to which fact in issue is attached.
Transaction word meaning:-. (facts taken place before the main incident, facts taken place during the course of main incident and facts taken place after the main incident) ?
So we can say section 6 is related to circumstantial evidence ?
