Pretty sure it's a separate license issue since it can be broken down to some extremely fine contract minutia, per company, cartoon or film version, and per region who can publish which version and even when IE. only Activision on NES in NA 1990 . Lawyers are quite pedantic. ;)

You can activate the trap with the second controller because they thought it would be fun to place the controller on the floor like a real trap so you can activate it with your foot.

The excellent Shadow of the Ninja, pretty good Addams Family (though the Amiga version was so much better), the classic Mario 1 and 2, the "whytheefuckdidiplaythissomuch" Bugs Bunnys Birthday Blowout, the amazing Little Nimo: Dream Master and New Ghostbusters 2 which I adored. You see I had to put up with Ghostbusters on the C64 or Atari which everyone raved about but I never liked, the dire Ghostbusters 2 and it;s home computer versions and a piss poor C64/Amiga ports of Real Ghostbusters arcade game...which wasnt very good in the first place! And playing this game was a revelation and I had no idea why not a single person would talk about this game at all,, I heard about the NES port of the C64/Atari game and that being awful and the Mega Drive game but no one I knew had that but not this. Then I was amazed that this wasnt even put released in the US! I guess maybe Activision were the only ones who could publish a GBII game there? No idea, all I know that this was an underrated gem. I had grabbed a PAL copy of this one though at the time I could only play it super sped up since it was PAL. It's up there as one of my favorite NES/Famicom titles. Even though there's arguably less going on, it's a lot more enjoyable than the Gameboy version to me.

The GameBoy used a custom processor based off the same chip the Master System/Game Gear used. Sega chip was clockes at 3.5MHz, while the GB chip was clocked at 4.19MHz. o3o the idea of the GameBoy being under powered is a misconception caused by the flawed belief that the color capability of a screen directly corresponds to the power of said system.
It's a shame this was ALMOST released in North America… (Sadly, it never passed the prototype stage.) Also… this (and its Game Boy port,) the Sega Mega Drive/Genesis, and the PS3/X360 games have to be THE three best Ghostbusters games ever made. (I'd count Real Ghostbusters Arcade, but that was actually a reskin of 'Meikyuu Hunter G', so…)

Ghostbusters: The Video Game
Available for PS3 and Xbox 360 is amazing. Totally recommended for fans, it is technically the sequel for 2nd movie.
There's also a Steam port. (Whether it's good on not, IDK.)

The Game Boy version is very similar to this version, two ghostbusters, etc.
