Another one of my favorite travel channels, Adventure of A + K, just finished up a road trip in South Dakota. I think a lot of people overlook the Dakotas when vacation planning, but they really are some insanely beautiful states. Thank you for sharing Scott, hope all is well!

I have not visited Bismarck although I did drive through it via I-94. I didn't film a driving video through there, but I should have. I can see me doing a driving video in Atlanta the next time I'm down there. I have not heard of Northlane before.

Scottman895 Travel I think it was on the sweet driving video you did for the road to Frankenmuth. My favorite driving video. ❤️ It was probably my third time to comment on it. No worries. Im actually getting a day off tomorrow and will be watching some of your videos I hate being too busy and not getting to stay caught up. 😟 Saturday we are having a triple birthday party. My son is turning 29 and my daughters two babies have birthdays a month apart so we are celebrating all three. Funny thing is it will be a Star Wars themed party. One grand daughter turned three and the other grand daughter will be two. I’ll probably post a video on my channel. 😂🎂🎉🎁

It's funny that you made reference to Fargo, the movie. It's one of my favorites and sadly I can still quote lines from it. There's one fact about the movie that I just learned about last year. If you've seen it then you'll remember that in the very beginning there's a disclaimer stating that the movie was based on true events that occurred in 1987. Well that was fictional. It didn't happen; I thought it did. As you are well aware the Dakota's are quite sizable. I've driven to Minot Air Force Base and been on it a couple times as a civilian. I also made a trip to Brandon Manitoba when I was up there as well.
I haven't seen the movie yet although I probably should. I like the disclaimer for the film, lol! I haven't been up to Minot before, but I know it is quite the drive from Fargo.
@@scottman895 Yes it is. When I made that particular trip it was in the Winter also. Set aside a couple of hours and watch the movie. I've watched it quite a few times over the years. It got better and better. It was released in the mid 1990's.
@@scottman895 "Vote for Pedro, Vote for Pedro, Vote for...... (?)...me." Yes, a very good movie. There are some interesting facts about the making of that film (Re: the actors and how much they were paid). In some aspects Uncle Rico and I are plagued with certain events from our past, lol.

Great video, Scott. I've always wanted to check out Fargo. One thing I learned is that in Fargo they pronounce the "s" in bison with a "z" sound. That is the mascot for the sports teams at North Dakota State University in Fargo, and when they are on ESPN the announcers will pronounce it with the z sound.
Wow, I had no idea about that one. On a future visit to Fargo I should pronounce bison with a "z" to see if I get a comment from locals. Thanks for watching!

@@scottman895 according to Wikipedia it was its own company in the early 20th century than later it became rebranded Dodge trucks sold at Chrysler and Plymouth dealers. It seems to have been sold in Canada until the early 1970s. There was someone in my area with one which is why I have some familiarity with the long ago discontinued brand.
I was there a few years ago! I love the huge FARGO sign at the theatre!

Totally! The Fargo walk of fame was very cool, and I was the only one there! It was nice to have it all to myself.
Did you know that in the Dakotas it could be in the triple digits in the summer months and it could drop in the negatives in the winter months?
I remember seeing that. That's why I could not see myself living there year round especially during the winter.
