Nice little review bud. Got a mk6 myself with full mountune exhaust and K&N induction kit on springs. Such a great car. So fun to drive. Use it as a daily myself and am averaging 36MPG which I'm pretty proud of, going by how speedily I drive it!
Hi Mexxy, yeh the mk6 was a great car I had one before this and loved it! It had the mountune 185 kit on it so went really well and had it on coilovers too! If you are ever thinking about making the change to the mk7 you really won't regret it! Enjoy buddy!!
because the 197bhp is the figure for when you are hitting over boost in 3rd onwards, so the power is the same. Also your ST2 doesn't come with satnav unless it's an ST2 Nav or an ST3
Hi Charlie, thanks man!! And yeh I'm looking at turning this into a bit of a channel so yours could be one of the first to be added. Where abouts are you in the country?
+Hayden Pyzer No worries at all mate! I wouldn't mind that mate in all honestly, happy to let you lose on the beast! ;) I'm based in Kent mate, so near Bluewater?
Probably one of the best Fiesta ST review's I have seen mate, crackin' job. Really concise and to the point. I have a mk6.5 ST just now and bloody love it! Thinking of looking at getting a mk7 ST soon, especially seeing how much they have dropped in price second hand recently, but anything to look out for when picking one up? Any known things to look out for etc? Cheers in advance!
Hi Kieran, I had a mk 6.5 st as well with the mountune 185 kit on it, loved it too! Going from that to this was a real change though a very different drive. Things to look out for are fairly basic. Ask for receipts for any modifications that have been done to see if they were new genuine parts used. Check things like tyres generally if they have mismatching or unbranded tyres it will mean the car has been run on a tight budget. These cars are normally driven fairly enthusiastically and may have had a hard life so make sure that when you test drive it that there are no noises. One to listen for is the turbo sounding like a kazoo as this can mean it is at the end of its life. However with these cars only being out for around 3 years this would be very rare unless the car was very high mileage. Finally exhausts, if the previous owner has fitted and aftermarket exhaust listen out for it blowing and check to see if it smells when sitting inside the cabin. If it does this indicates a leak.
Great to have a bit more of an insight into the world of modifying these cars so I salute you for this video as it's been helpful! I have a question (might be a daft one) but I have a standard fiesta st-2 and got it through the PCP/Ford Options thing and I was wondering if you can still modify the car with the mountune mp 215 kit as i'm really keen on this upgrade but not too sure whether i'm allowed to upgrade to this kit even though it doesn't void the warranty. Any advice is much appreciated!
Hi, Nice review and vid. I have a 16 plate ST3 and am really torn on what to do. My head says MT MP215 but the cost versus say a CP stage 1 is off putting. It does make me wonder if I should go straight to stage 2. I don't want a hooligan machine, but a little extra torque, noise and performance is always a bonus.
Hi bud, the mp215 kit is great and well worth the money I had it before I went to the Revo stage 2 that mines running now. It gives you a much harder punch low down as the torque increase is what you really notice. It also give the car a deeper exhaust note and more induction roar in the cabin. The final bonus is that it maintains your warranty which if you have a new car like yours really is worth doing! If you are looking for more power gains over and above the mp215 id say skip it and go straight to stage 2 save you the money but it does then turn into a very different car and is heavier on fuel. Just depends what you are looking for from your car? Either way you'll love it mate! Enjoy!!!
+Hayden Pyzer Thanks for the reply :) its a daily driver and I do around 15k a year so fuel is a good consideration. was the stage 1 better or worse than standard? I guess the extra roar can goad you into thw boost more which would kill the mpg but if driven identically I woyld expect a slight mpg increase? I think the warranty is also an important consideration. I hear so often that stage 1 is awesome and others say a waste. If the quoted 10% or there abouts torque gain was real world then that is huge and surely cant be ignored or rubbished as a waste of money.
+Psychosomatic88 personally if it were me I'd say the mp215 is what I'd have for that sort of mileage. It's what the ST should have been like from standard it just frees up its real potential allowing it to be more free revving and torquey! Mpg is affected slightly because the deeper roar inside the cabin is addictive! And you'll love the louder blow off noise too! Keep your Warranty while you can then once it ends then go after more power if you want to is my advice. Enjoy buddy!
Great video mate keep it up! I'm intrigued to know how much you pay on insurance for the car. You look around 21, 22 so saying that with this sort of power under the car I cant imagine insurance comes cheap. Would be good to know how much insurance was at each stage so stock, 215hp and 240hp. Also with all the other mods you did excluding the performance tune did that have any real effect on insurance price or are you with an insurance company that specialises in modified cars? Insurance is a real killer for me and limits me having to wait a few more months until im 21 to get the insurance down. Again keep up the good work, for your first video it was just what i was looking to find!
Hi jiuop, thanks for the kind words I appreciate it!!! Ok so I've had this car for about 2 years now and yeh I'm 22 good guess. The first years insurance cost me about £650-£700 with Admiral then 6 months into that I did the mountune upgrade and added that to the insurance which cost me and extra £80. 6 months after that I went to the Revo stage 2 upgrade just before my insurance was due. When I told admiral about the additional upgrades and power than ran away from it screaming haha. They said due to it having a non standard intercooler they simply couldn't not insure me no matter what cost. I then went to Adrian flux as they provide specialist modified and with everything declared it was only £500 on the nose. Can't recommend them enough. I hope this helps mate and enjoy your beaST when you get it!!
+Hayden Pyzer Damn you must live on a decent area for such a low insurance premium. lowest I'm looking atm is £2000 and that's with 3 years driving 2 years no claims. Anyhow thanks for the info ill defo look at Adrian Flux they sound like they help out those who are into cars than just the average Joe. It would be good to see you to keep making videos maybe make a series of developing your car further or something? Hopefully I can follow the series along with my own ST in the not so distant future ;)
+jiuop I'm in West Sussex where abouts are you? £2000 wow that's loads I didn't pay that on my old mk6.5 ST and I only had a years no claims! Yeh give them a call they look after people who are into there cars! And I'm just about to upload another doing a walk around of the car explaining the mods and showing you them. Let me know what you think and enjoy your ST buddy!
A lot further up north in Leeds. Paid £2200 on a renault clio 1.4 back when i was 17, same price as the car however 3 years on im down to £900 for insurance. Anyhow I'll keep a look out for your new vid and keep them coming!
My insurance went down from stock to 215. It was about £300 on stock, and now I think I pay about £270 a year right now or thereabouts. RS is on order so I'm interested on the insurance changes for that.
You didn't fit an lsd yet? I put a quaife on my Alfa v6 and it made an enormous difference. I was thinking about putting one in my ST too. I haven't made any power upgrades yet but if I were you an LSD would be one of the first things I would do.
Hello bud the intercooler was around £450 and the exhaust was about £950. It's a non resonated turbo back from Miltek. In my opinion the best exhaust available for the car!
Nice video funny watching you with a smile on your face everytime you put your foot down. I've got a ST-3 215 Montune great upgrade. Curious how much did the mods cost? How has it affected your servicing costs? Do you have to take it to somewhere specialised to have it serviced? I'm down in W.Sussex myself.
Hi mark. Haha the smile has definitely gotten bigger after going to stage two. I loved the Mountune kit but this is a whole new level! Loads more low down torque and it rips through the gears with so much more noise and power. I've spent over £5000 in total that's for everything though. Take a look in the description for every mod on the car. In terms of servicing I actually work in sales at a garage with some very useful mechanics who own highly modified cars so it's ok for me. I'd say getting it serviced by a tuner like Devil Developments would be a must otherwise to make sure they know what they are looking at. Where abouts in W Sussex are you. Let me know either on here or drop me a message and we can meet if you like?
Hi Hayden, yeah I'm not surprised mate. The Montune 215 is great but like you, want to take it further (without going crazy), so definitely would be great to pick your brains with it seeing as I'm not very mechanical/technical with cars although love driving them. Not sure how I can PM you on here?
+Mark de Arriba-Smith hello buddy yeh not a problem always happy to help other people out. Add me on FB and drop me a message and we'll arrange a time to meet!
Nice video man, you're giving me a lot of ideas. Just bought a molten orange one with the black rims, loving it. Have you had any experience with the ATP turbo kits or Cyborg turbo kits? I'm assuming your warranty went out the window with the first modification?
Hello mate!! Glad I can help! I haven't had any experiences personally but have heard of them. I'd ask around on forums for people thoughts mate see what other people think too. And yeh warranty is longggg gone!
getting my ST 3 this week and the first thing I'm doing to it is to get it lowered, now I don't like cars slammed to the ground and to low I like them just looking "gently" and subtlety dropped what springs would you recommend and how low should I go to achieve this . thanks
Mountune actually offer lowering springs through them. They are however just Eibach lowering Springs painted yellow. Only around £150-£200 and will look just like mine as they drop the ride height by around 30mm all round. Personally I don't think the mountune stage two kit is worth the premium. You only get a mountune intercooler which isn't a massive improvement over the standard one and only a cat back exhaust that's resonated so no real sound improvement. For less money you'll get much better aftermarket parts that perform better. Mountune is great at stage 1 as it maintains your ford warranty but stage 2 you loose it and for the money you'll get more performance elsewhere.
+Stewart Watson no worries mate. Mountune are great but like Apple in a way the company works. You can't add other mods along the way as they claim it means they can't offer the guarantee on reliability or power output. If you have 'plans' for your car then I'd say opt for a different route as you will have much more flexibility and options further down the line. Plus a turbo back exhaust is a much better option providing a more free flowing exit and offering much better sound (turbo whistle, pops and bangs).
+Hayden Pyzer...yeah good advice mate thanks,so you'd recommend going 30mm with the lowering like I said I don't want to go to low just "gently" lowered
Awesome video mate! Thanks for taking the time to share your experience. I'm tossing up whether to just get the stage 1 REVO tune or go the whole hog and get the stage 2 with the rest of the kit. Money isn't a massive issue but once you add on that 'Australia tax' to everything it starts to add up pretty quick. Do you know how the Mountune MP215 compares to the REVO stage 1? If it's fairly similar I might just skip stage 1 and hit up stage 2. I'm averaging 7.1L/100km as a 'spirited' daily driver in stock form and i'm a bit worried this it going to skyrocket if I get it tuned!
Hi Michael, thanks buddy I appreciate it! And ok right so if you are only going for a stage one go for mountune as you'll keep your warranty. If you are gonna be after more power and ultimately more fun then I'd say just skip the stage 1 and do the Revo stage 2 you'll need a bigger intercooler, full exhaust system ( miltek is what I have) and a new air intake as a starting block. I suggest adding a stiffer rear engine mount to restrict the twist of the engine giving a smoother power delivery. Fuel economy is affected but not by too much mine went from around 42mpg standard to 35mpg with a stage one mountune kit to now around 29mpg with the Revo stage 2 that works out at around 290 miles ish to a full tank. You'll love your car either way but if your wallet allows it go for the state 2! Enjoy!!!
Wicked video mate. I've got a 2014 fiesta ST running on a superchips bluefin stage 1 alongside a milltek non res cat back exhaust. I'm thinking of going Revo stage 2 with a stage 1 intercooler, milltek sports cat to make my current exhaust turbo back and a revo open cone intake. It comes to around 2k in a package. How is the transition from stage 1 to stage 2? My superchips map is quite aggressive and gave me instant noticeable gains. Cheers mate
how's the step from stage 1 to 2? I have mp215 with mountune cat / catback just need intercooler boost pipes and mapping just wondered how much better stage 2 would be? is it a large increase that would justify the price? also is the roll restrictor worth getting? I've never thought I would bother with it but now starting to consider aswell hmm
My ST2 is running about 240 ish bhp with a stage 2 inter cooler, custom made cat back exhaust and a sports cat, a air intake, bigger boost pipes, and a revo stage 2 map. I'm just wondering if you know how much power they can handle without having to forge the engine, I'm stressing a bit about a con rod coming through my bonnet haha thanks.
Hi dan. Very similar setup to me! First thing I'd suggest is what I did after I went to stage 2 is go get yourself a rear engine mount (roll restrictor). Mountune sell one or you can get them elsewhere, basically it reduces the twist of the engine making for smoother gear changes and it actually helps for a smoother power delivery. The stock internals are good up to around 270-280bhp before you have to start worrying. It's the stock turbo that's the main consideration. Running 240-245bhp really is the limit for the OE turbo. If you are looking at chasing more power you need to look down the route of either a hybrid turbo or a bigger turbo upgrade kit like the Garret GT2860 or something from Borg Warner's EFR range.
+Hayden Pyzer thanks man, I have been looking at the montune engine mount, bit pricey for what it is but I guess you gotta pay out for the best stuff I guess haha, and cheers mate I wanna get it to a solid 250 bhp and leave it at that as it is my daily driver👍🏼
+Dan Lewis I've heard from various tuners stock internals up good up till 400 but to even get to that stage you'll already have forged it to prevent any mishaps.
hi,great video, do you know if the mountune exhaust is any good or should I stick to getting the miltek one? also wondering if I should go for the mountune 215, or use amd in Essex for a remap as they are both pretty local to me. your help will be appreciated. keep up with the great videos
Hi Gary the Mountune mp215 kit is great but will want you wanting more after 6 months or so. If you have plans to modify it further don't go down the Mountune route. They are like apple once you are in they are only compatible with other Mountune products as they claim they can't promise they will pruduce the claimed figures. Go to AMD and get a miltek!!! Best way forward buddy!!
Thanks for the quick reply, amd are doing half price remap with any miltek exhaust at moment so that is even better, I will be looking to get to stage 2 at some point but am I little worried about the fuel after watching your video as I drive it to work from Essex to Kent every day. But I need more speed!!! Lol
Great review on the mods you've made. I've had my ST2 for around 3 months now and thinking about adding the Mountune 215 kit that you started with. Do you recall how much that effected the fuel consumption by? I'm getting around 40mpg on a run to work and around 32-35 when I'm having fun with it. Thanks
Hi Michael, thank buddy means a lots! Yeh you'll love the mp215 kit you really will! I was getting around 35mpg on a normal run and a little lower when driving enthusiastically. It really is worth the money it transforms the car to what it should have been like from new. Enjoy it buddy!
This is the Non resonated turbo back, not cat back exhaust, with a sports cat for emissions reasons. After listening to loads of different brands this to me sounded the best!
Just recently bought an st-3 and I live locally to pumaspeed whom are supposedly are really good when it comes to modifying fiestas, just wondering if you have had any experience with them or heard any good/bad things about them? Cheers
Hi Aaron yeh I've heard good things about that they offer a wide choice of mods and all from well know brands like Miltek etc. Going for a tuner who is local to you is a good idea purely for the fact you can always take the car back should you find any issues with the map etc. A stage two map from them will really make a huge difference to your car. Enjoy mate!
Awesome video mate, I've recently bought myself a ST2 have you ever had an issue with a slight knocking noise during gear change at low speeds? I've read forums and a lot of people say rear engine mounts.. just wondering if you know anything?
iv got a 65plate Ford Fiesta ST with a R-Sport Induction Kit and Pumaspeed Induction Hose atm im about to get my car tuned by Pumaspeed stage 1+ which will take it to 220hp. 😆 hopefully going to get Stage 2+ Pumaspeed tune to 245hp which is the max u can get from a stock turbo.
+Stuart Hall yeh buddy of course I was actually going to do something along the lines of that next actually. Probably later this week I'll be uploading. Remember to share and subscribe haha.
Hi Ivan my exhaust is a turbo back non resonated exhaust with a sports cat. I have not removed the symposer as you can't hear it now anyway the noise from the induction kit and exhaust are far louder when you have your foot down.
I had to go from a regular insurer like admiral to a modified insurance specialist Adrian flux I have 4ncb and it cost me about 500 fully comp with me as the main driver.
He man. I'm thinking of doing a revo stage 2 as well. And do you have to do the intake, intercooler and exhaust ? Or does the software alone give those gains ?
hi what was the total cost of the whole mod ? my ST is just standard at the moment, I am looking at some more power out of her. Just want a idea of cost and how much did your insurance rise by. cheers
Hi bud! If you go straight to stage two it'll cost you around £2000-£2500 for the map, exhaust induction kit and intercooler. I've spent double that I total as I had the mountune kit before this one as well as lowering it in coilovers, Quickshifter, forge blow off valve, updated rear engine mount And new wheels. Insurance is affected admiral just refused to quote me so I went to Adrian flux for modified insurance and that worked out really well. Around £500 fully comp. let me know if I can help with anything else mate!
How much is your insurance? Thinking of getting one of these and doing similar mods. I live in London so insurance for me is silly. I'm 21 and had my licence for just under 3 years.
Hello mate. I was the same age when I bought mine it wasn't too bad if I'm honest the best insurer is Adrian flux as they do specialist modified insurance. If you're interested in actually selling this very car now due to me buying a house. Would you be interested?
I am Adrian Flux as well, I pay £1000 for an Audi A1 S Line 1.2 with a REVO map on it. What sort of price would you look to sell it at? What is the mileage, etc on it? Would prefer to have a slightly newer year if I am honest though mate, may reconsider if the mileage is low, but the mods you have done look great. Also is the car on stock brakes? I changed mine to EBC grooved discs and yellowstuff pads - much cheaper than a big brake kit and is sooooo much better than the stock Audi brakes, never smell the pads burning themselves away anymore, and almost no brake fade with heavy use.
Hi Harvey. Yes all the mods are declared to Adrian Flux who do specialist modified insurance. I paid £500 for 12 months fully comp last year so hopefully that drops again this year.
As soon as I added the intercool the insurer I was with (Admiral) said they'd no longer insure me. Adrian flux are who I'm with now as the do specialist insurance for modified cars as they know people who modify there cars also look after them. Give them a call!
+Hayden Pyzer yeah that's who I had my modified mini with. but can't get an ST into my small garage haha, what kinda premium were you paying first time round?
+FPSyorkshire year one of owning the car standard fully comp with Admiral was around £700 then with all the mods listed in the description year two of owning the car (5 years no claims) was £500 fully comp with Adrian Flux. They are great!!
+FPSyorkshire yeh once you have some more no claims under your belt then make the change I'd say to keep the costs down. What's your mini running is it a cooper s or JCW?
You lose the overboost function when you get the stage one mountune map right? So really you only gain like 15BHP? Good video btw. Your car is awesome.
Hi Richard, yeh I believe so however it's the torque that you really notice with the mp215 makes overtaking loads easier no dropping down from 6th to 5th etc. This has obviously increased further with my car now running a stage two map at 240bhp. If you are looking at the mp215 kit you'll love it!
+Hayden Pyzer aha right. I'm looking at the car as a whole. Haven't got one yet. Seeing all the incredible reviews is seriously tempting me! Think I'll have to test drive one!
+Richard Hurr if you are looking for an exciting drive and something that puts a massive smile on your face this is for you. If you want comfort and luxury then I'd suggest looking at a lesser softer rival. The st is focused on performance and handling it still offers all the toys you could really want but is a firmer ride than its rivals. This shows when you get to corners though so that's the main trade off.
My current car rides on 205/40/17s which is exactly the same as the Fiesta ST right? And it's rather hard and crashy over bumps so I'm used to it. The Fiesta can't be any worse a ride and I don't care about my passengers comfort lol. Just want something newer, quicker and better handling.
+Richard Hurr what have you got at the moment? And it's not just the tyre profile that affects the ride quality. The fiesta has quite a harsh damper setup which is the main cause of the hard ride. The Peugeot 208 GTI I think actually has larger wheels but has a softer suspension so is more comfortable but isn't at capable when you get to a twisty road.
Thanks bud! I work in the car trade. Please remember to like, subscribe and most importantly share. Want to get this out to as many ST owners, potential owners and car fans as possible.
+Aaron Thomas wow that must be some serious miss daisy driving haha. I've had mine showing 50 once and I sat at 50mph for around 30mins in 6th. As soon as I prodded the throttle it dropped back down again. What's yours running at stage 4? And thanks buddy, I appreciate it!!!
+Hayden Pyzer - Ocmotorsport hybrid, uprated actuator, Airtech stage 3 intercooler, Full milltek with sports cat, AS stage 2 induction kit, R-Sport crossover, Mountune hard pipe kit including boost hoses, synthosiser delete, Stage 4 evolution map, mountune springs... The list goes on but I'm starting to feel abit sick adding it all up 😂
It has to advertised in the uk as 180bhp as the 197bhp is only a temporary output (15 seconds of over boost) However in the US they can advertise it as 197bhp as they have different rules.
+owen chappell yeh the standard fiesta ST will pull away from a diesel focus St.. But once modified a stage one would really pull away and a stage 2 like this would leave a diesel ST for dead I would have thought.
Hahaha ! I love it ! Crazy how you feel that rear end working and how it can evenly distribute the weight while going round a corner, And how you put so much weight onto one front wheel but the car is just laughing at it and takes it like it's nothing... amazing car! Need a few little mods tho for a bit more power soon hopefully ☺ Awesome video man and ill definitely be coming 2nd if i meet you on the road... mine still stock hahaha ☺
+Jay McGregor it's a great car and for the money and probably up to £35K ish I can't think of a car I'd rather have for a B roads blast!!! Haha once you start getting some bits done to the car you'll realise just how much potential it has! The stock car is brilliant, but once you allow it to breath properly it changes into a whole new beaST!! Where abouts are you in the country I may have seen you around?
+Jay McGregor ford definitely it the nail on the head with the fiST! Haha ahh maybe I haven't seen you about then! Is the your ST a 3 door or a 5 door like it is the states?
Great to see an honest option on the different mods you have got/used. :)
You sir, have a badass lil car..well done
Cheers bud!
Are you Elon Musk?
Really enjoyed this video mate. Looking to go to person stage 1+ and you’ve persuaded me with the milltek catback system
Love it, gonna steal some ideas and thanks for making the milltek decision for me :D
No worries buddy. Glad I can help you won't be disappointed going for a Miltek!!
Top Video !!! ;)
Keep 'em coming
Thanks buddy!!
Really good review! Really enjoyed it :)
Thanks mate. Remember to share and subscribe more to come for sure!
I don’t get it how the 2013 model comes with sat nav and 197bhp yet I’ve got the 2014 st2 and it’s no sat nav and only comes 180bhp stock
because the 197bhp is the figure for when you are hitting over boost in 3rd onwards, so the power is the same.
Also your ST2 doesn't come with satnav unless it's an ST2 Nav or an ST3
Great video, thanks for sharing 👍
Great video, very clear
Great video and review man! Wouldn't mind you doing a review of my 285 BHP Revo Fiesta ST!
+Charlie Windwood ok mate well add me on FB and we can sort out a day too meet somewhere!
+Hayden Pyzer No worries sounds a plan to me! I can't find you on FB mate for some reason?!
And thank you for the kind words I appreciate it!
Great vid, fantastic car...you'd make an excellent car reviewer!
Would lke to see more of an outside vidof your car sometime.
Thanks bob appreciate it! And that's the next video to come just gotta wait for the weather to dry up and get some sunshine. Watch this space....
a girl in my neighborhood has a FiST and she's always hooning. It's cute
spit fire You are everywhere man!!
What do you mean by "hooning"? #engrish
which coilovers? you are right about the recaros gripping tightly - I find I'm often missing several items of clothing when I get out.
Hasan Baksh as soon as you change from a mountune part the warranty is void mate
Hasan Baksh hi there yes you can upgrade to the mountune kit and keep your warranty! Don't worry no question is stupid!
What brand of coilovers did you fit
Hey man, nice video! Just a tip. Try to balance the volume a bit better. The intro was heaps loins and then your voice was weak compared. Cheers
perfect spec
+Hayden Pyzer nice one thanks pal I certainly will do. Take it easy.
I couldn't recommend the 215 enough my self. Never been so pleased with a purchase. pshhhhtish!
Nice car bro!
Thanks bud appreciate it!
How much would you say you have spent?
Thanks
You didn't fit an lsd yet? I put a quaife on my Alfa v6 and it made an enormous difference. I was thinking about putting one in my ST too. I haven't made any power upgrades yet but if I were you an LSD would be one of the first things I would do.
hi mate, how much was your exhaust and intercooler and a mate has a mp215 ST and wants to got for a stage 2 revo build. cheers.
Hi great vid, just wondered who you were insured with as I'm looking for a good mod friendly insurance
Anyone heard any good things about pumaspeed?
getting my ST 3 this week and the first thing I'm doing to it is to get it lowered, now I don't like cars slammed to the ground and to low I like them just looking "gently" and subtlety dropped what springs would you recommend and how low should I go to achieve this . thanks
then I'm getting the stage 2 mountune package
+Hayden Pyzer..thanks mate for the quick reply that's really helpful cheers.
Enjoy!!!
Cheers mate keep up the good work.
Cheers mate
How much was the Miltek back exhaust?
how's the step from stage 1 to 2? I have mp215 with mountune cat / catback just need intercooler boost pipes and mapping just wondered how much better stage 2 would be? is it a large increase that would justify the price? also is the roll restrictor worth getting? I've never thought I would bother with it but now starting to consider aswell hmm
I live in Littlehampton man, what other service to devil development offer?
They are a ford specialist buddy. They're also a miltek retailer. Give them a call mate!
Sounds good man. cheers
+Dan Lewis I've heard from various tuners stock internals up good up till 400 but to even get to that stage you'll already have forged it to prevent any mishaps.
what tyres are you using? they seem to handle 240bhp easy. my michelins pilot sport 3 suck - i get wheelspin in 3rd...stock car
How much is the miltek exhaust?
About £950 for a turbo back from Miltek! Well worth it!
Very late comment but is this an atmospheric or a Recirc blow off valve?
hi,great video, do you know if the mountune exhaust is any good or should I stick to getting the miltek one? also wondering if I should go for the mountune 215, or use amd in Essex for a remap as they are both pretty local to me. your help will be appreciated. keep up with the great videos
+Hayden Pyzer Thanks for the reply mate, looks like I'll be popping along to Mountune to get it fitted then ;)
+Michael Weaver do it honestly if you are only after a little more poke and want to keep your warranty it's amazing!!! Enjoy it mate
Is this the milltek non res race or just the normal milltek exhaust?
Is it the standard milltek or race milltek exhaust along with the sports cat ?? Great video by the way
Also de-cat or sports cat??
Enjoy mate!
+Hayden Pyzer cheers buddy, appreciate it.
Awesome video mate, I've recently bought myself a ST2 have you ever had an issue with a slight knocking noise during gear change at low speeds? I've read forums and a lot of people say rear engine mounts.. just wondering if you know anything?
David Neilly just bought a new st and mine had same issue
iv got a 65plate Ford Fiesta ST with a R-Sport Induction Kit and Pumaspeed Induction Hose atm im about to get my car tuned by Pumaspeed stage 1+ which will take it to 220hp. 😆
hopefully going to get Stage 2+ Pumaspeed tune to 245hp which is the max u can get from a stock turbo.
You'll love the extra power have heard good things about puma speed! Enjoy!!
Thanks dude top video.
Could you make a video showing what you have done outside on your car.
Thanks
Stuart
+Stuart Hall yeh buddy of course I was actually going to do something along the lines of that next actually. Probably later this week I'll be uploading. Remember to share and subscribe haha.
You're the second person I've seen who said their st-2 has a satnav, but mine doesn't 🤔🤔. Was it an optional extra?
My St 2 also has sat nav. It's not great. I wouldn't worry about not having it.
joey R My old st2 also didnt have one. My new st2 has one. So I guess it was an optional extra
Hi there thanks for the vid :) is your exhaust resonated / non resonated or race non resonated? Did you delete the symphoser cheers
Hi Ivan my exhaust is a turbo back non resonated exhaust with a sports cat. I have not removed the symposer as you can't hear it now anyway the noise from the induction kit and exhaust are far louder when you have your foot down.
Thanks very much you helped me make my mind up :)
+Ivan Pavlov no worries buddy non res in the way to go what's the point in spending all that money if you are going to restrict the noise? Enjoy!!
Top speed ??
How much does it affect the insurance all these mods
I'm 21with 2 ncb and struggle to get insured on hot hatches
I had to go from a regular insurer like admiral to a modified insurance specialist Adrian flux I have 4ncb and it cost me about 500 fully comp with me as the main driver.
500?! I got quoted 1000 for a 16 plate polo gti
+jackh902 that's mad mate one don't pay that and two don't buy a polo gti! Big mistake!
Don't put your foot down in 6th.. downshifting to 5th is wiser. Doing so in 6th would be "lugging" the motor, and can cause long term damage.
Depends on revs mate. Anything over 3k is fine
how much did you pay for the blow off valve?
£180 ish straight from the the Forge website
He man. I'm thinking of doing a revo stage 2 as well. And do you have to do the intake, intercooler and exhaust ? Or does the software alone give those gains ?
abulhasan ramjan no you have to have the extra hardware or it will not run this kind of power the engine needs to be able to breath more easily!
hi
what was the total cost of the whole mod ? my ST is just standard at the moment, I am looking at some more power out of her.
Hi is that the ggr240?
Honestly thought this was Elon musk reviewing an ST
What part gived you more gains : catback or pro race 1.2 ?
Sylvain SCHMITT hi there. The wheels offer no real performance gains. The turbo back exhaust offers some gains and a great noise too!
Hello mate, just wondering about insurance, how much are you roughly paying for your ST and have you got all your modifications on the policy?
Hi Harvey. Yes all the mods are declared to Adrian Flux who do specialist modified insurance. I paid £500 for 12 months fully comp last year so hopefully that drops again this year.
Fiesterrrr ST lol his accent gets me when he pronounces it
what do you do for insurance. looking to get one and want to mod it :)
+Hayden Pyzer oh right that's cool. I'm with Adrian flux with my mini and that's £800 modified in a garage with 2 years named experience
Have you experienced any warning lights using your induction kit?
No nothing at all buddy!
+Hayden Pyzer awesome, did you get any lights after swapping out your alloys and tyres?
+daniel wood no mate that wouldn't bring up any warning lights.
+Hayden Pyzer awesome , cheers man
Lmfao
Hi mate, is your exhaust the 2.5 inch or 3inch?
Jamie Tortolano 3"
Sweet ride, what do you do for a living?:p
Thanks bud! I work in the car trade. Please remember to like, subscribe and most importantly share. Want to get this out to as many ST owners, potential owners and car fans as possible.
What is the 0-60 now mate?
It doesn't have an official figure but if the standard car is 6.7-6.9 this has to be 6 seconds or less.
I'm stage 4 and still getting very good mpg. No different to std really.
Stage 4 and still getting 45mpg? That's impressive???
+Hayden Pyzer on a long run down to Cornwall the trip computer showed 55mpg! Nice review BTW 😀
The list goes on but I'm starting to feel abit sick adding it all up 😂
+Aaron Thomas very nice buddy!! I know how you feel and I'm only on a stage two. I must have spent between 4K-5k on mine already!!
lush car mate
0:20 Fiester.
Theee Fiester is brilliant
I've noticed that Chris Harris says Fiester too. Must be a British thing. They get all the good little fords. :(
It comes with 182bhp
It has to advertised in the uk as 180bhp as the 197bhp is only a temporary output (15 seconds of over boost) However in the US they can advertise it as 197bhp as they have different rules.
oh.my dad has the diesel focus st and i thought that was quick but that seemed a lot faster.
+owen chappell yeh the standard fiesta ST will pull away from a diesel focus St.. But once modified a stage one would really pull away and a stage 2 like this would leave a diesel ST for dead I would have thought.
Viper alarm
It’s red though..
A BMW driver giving the wanker sign! 🤔😂
180-185 bhp standard mate...
197bhp on overboost for 15seconds as standard mate!
Hayden Pyzer 2 months after this comment I got my own ST... Stage 1 215bhp revo! Awesome car!
you must be honest them jibs bra.
LMFAO those stupid bmw drivers goo god yes have i seen lots of those waves since i got our FiST lolz makes a lot of drivers angry for sure... ;D
Hahahaha I'm glad it's not just me then! How you enjoying your car?
Hahaha ! I love it ! Crazy how you feel that rear end working and how it can evenly distribute the weight while going round a corner,
And how you put so much weight onto one front wheel but the car is just laughing at it and takes it like it's nothing... amazing car! Need a few little mods tho for a bit more power soon hopefully ☺
Awesome video man and ill definitely be coming 2nd if i meet you on the road... mine still stock hahaha ☺
+Hayden Pyzer yea me too, so many other car's that cost heaps more just arnt built right... I'm in Melbourne Australia tho, your in England?
+Jay McGregor ford definitely it the nail on the head with the fiST! Haha ahh maybe I haven't seen you about then! Is the your ST a 3 door or a 5 door like it is the states?
You look like Elon musk
Hi mate, is your exhaust the 2.5 inch or 3inch?
I believe it's a 2.5 inch. It's a full Miltek turbo back with a sports cat.
