As someone who's trained in ballet and other styles, I honestly love how there is a show focused on ballet. I feel like people don't really know how hard it actually is and the work that gets put into it.
Yes that's why I love watching ballet. It's beautiful and elegant but it takes immense strength. When I watched the Royal Ballet warm up for the time a couple years ago, I couldn't believe how hard they had to work.
Don't get me wrong, I know that all styles of dance are difficult in their own ways. I just feel that there is a tendency to assume that because ballet looks easy (even though we are taught to make it look that way), it is therefore an easy profession when in reality it's incredibly difficult.

HWEV Any dance is hard and takes a lot of effort and hard work. What really separates the good from the bad are passion and talent.

Toro sharp edge Ballet for men is very tough yes. They generally have a lot of fancy jumps and turns which is just as hard on their body.
