Thank you so much I really really enjoyed watching you creating these beautiful and gorgeous coins. And the background is really really stunning too. Please stay safe and well too xxx Mags
We used to call the background papers that we thought were messed up as "KaKa" paper and then during a card challenge, we had to give ourselves permission to use them in some way. It was really amazing what other people thought of our "grunge" results when we were finished with the card challenge! Crafty Hodges who created the first atc coins made her's 2 1/2 inches, but I see that other people, such as yourself are making them all sizes.
Thanks, it came to me when I was searching my craft stash for texture and I thought...why not? I was a little concerned about the clean up, but they cleaned up as good as new.
Clever idea! I have zillions of embossing folders and it never occurred to me to use them with paint to transfer pattern and texture. It seems like such an obvious option but not for me I guess! Loved this tutorial! New subscriber here! 😃
Hope you feel better soon--summer colds are never any fun! Love the coins--as usual you are so clever with how you made the coins and adding the photos--amazing! Thanks again for sharing your talent with us!!
I hope your cold didn't linger on too long. Cool passport book, I love it. 😃👍🏻 Wow!! Beautiful background!!! Neat that you can use embossing folders like that. 😃 I love the concept of these art coins... I hope to have a chance to create some, soon. Yours came out great. 😃
Great idea to use the embossing folder as a background stamp! You are always so clever! I have to say that I am happy July is here......that much closer to your Halloween series! Can't wait!! Thanks for sharing!!
Nicely done. I’ve been using my paper dolls as well. But I always feel like I need to trim them so they don’t hang off the “coin”. But seeing yours they actually look nice a little off the circle. Enjoyed your background technique as well.
HI MONICA, I JUST RAN ACROSS YOUR VIDEO. LIKE THE IDEA. FUNNY THING I JUST GOT SOME PAPER DOLLS & WAS THINKING OF DOING CIRCLES EVEN BEFORE SEEING THIS VIDEOL Do take care. Fl.
I have never tried to do backgrounds, I was always afraid I would mess it up. Now with the help of your video I think I will try. I make a lot of fall season themed things, so I think this will work well. I have a hard time finding the backround paper I really would like. Thanks for showing that it is not that dificult . I am a new subie.
What is the diameter of these? I love the video, but wish it had shown the paper punch that the rounds were cut out of. Thanks. These are fabulous! Just my style. Nice job! : )
I love that background technique. I first saw Seth Apter do it with chalk paints. You are a great teacher and artist, but sure wish you would dump the music.
Thank you so much I really really enjoyed watching you creating these beautiful and gorgeous coins. And the background is really really stunning too. Please stay safe and well too xxx Mags
My view is: The more imperfections, the more perfect it becomes.. Love your Coins!

Really a wonderful job. I really enjoyed watching and the idea of how to use those tiny paper dolls. Thanks.

Awesome ATCoins Monica. tfs =^^=
I love these! I think I have everything I need. I had no idea these are so popular. I assume a 2 inch punch is okay????
Mine was 2 1/4, but apparently the official size is 2 1/2. I say go for whatever size you want! Have fun.
What is the diameter of these? I love the video, but wish it had shown the paper punch that the rounds were cut out of. Thanks. These are fabulous! Just my style. Nice job! : )
Hi Beth. These are 2in circles.
It's hard to see as the video appears to be out of focus but I love this technique.
Amazing as always. I have no idea what ATC even was. haha!
oh btw you said atc have some artist info in the back, what info do they have, is there like a format?
It is usually your contact information. Name, email, if there was a theme and date
Monica Taylor ah like when there's a meetup!
Diameter? Answer from Monica doesn't show up on here when I asked before. Thanks. : )
