I stoped at about half. But still - in so many games the 580 is doing worse than 570, its really strange. And the stutters you had in the F1 2022 is just too brutal. Something is wrong with your system man... In general, I am on 470/4GB. And there are pretty cheap 470/480/5xx 8GB around me, so I though that maybe that would be the easiest upgrade for me. But lookslike I will rather get some cents together and 6600 will be the much better option.
@@intermilan9731 yeah aside from the cut-down PCIe lanes on the 6500 and 6600, which make them very bad for legacy drop-ins on PCIe 1.1/2.0 systems. I needed 16 lanes and a GPU that could run on a single 6 pin connector, and so the 2048SP 580 ended up being the reasonable choice.

this rx580 2048 is behaving strange. Some channels presenting it similar to 580 2304, some channels presenting similar to 570. I think theres are multiple variants & china is sending randomly

if you add more clockspeed to it its gonna overheat the chinese version of the card got a bad exhaust design and if you want to put more clock speed to it get a 570 heatsink to get better results, not as better as 570 but as its equal its basically a 570 anyway lol
AMD just changed the name for the Chinese market. The RX 580 2048 SP is an RX 570. Or worse... it might be an unofficial 'knock-off' RX 470... that has been mined to death and then stuck onto a new board and flashed with an RX 580 2048 SP VBIOS. Best avoided...

Or try get RX 5600 XT? I able to get mine around $120 (converted from MYR) and huge improvement over RX 580
it's because the 2048SP model has cut down some of the shader units, the performance is more similar to rx 570
the real rx 580 has 2304 shader units

Why were there stutters in rx 570 , it was smooth but still got those stutters sometimes.

it depends on the BIOS of the GPU. personally I kept the original BIOS so as not to influence the test results
