I went on a day trip to Helsinki, Finland so I decided to film buses and trams. I never knew this until I came here, that Helsinki's main transport is the tram!!
Well, you could say that the most used system is tram, but some might argue its the very widely spread bus network or the the commuter rail network (when talking about the HSL area)! Nice video, and in the city center the trams are the main mode for sure!
@@FilippNossovPlanesandBuses I'd say trams are the main mode in the city center, however outside of the city center the metro and urban rail have much bigger roles in moving people. Outside of Helsinki (in Vantaa, Sipoo or Kirkkonummi for example) buses have a bigger role.
I know lol They put up small plastic signs in particular places for the winter (50cm poles more like) so that the machines clearing up the snow do not smash everything.

I am curious to know what is their trick to protect their brick roads from being torn up by the snowplows in the winter so if anybody know.

Brick/stone roads and similar can take any and all abuse from clearing the snow - they were built that way.
