I think number 21 should be higher up on this list, yes it was only a one v one with no "fancy" plays, but the amount of mind gaming that went into that is insane. When I first watched this 6 months ago I was silver and I thought it was a meh play, rewatching this clip after 6 months and currently being high plat with Zed as my main, I can appreciate a lot of the more simplistic plays in this clip. The use of the shadow, flash and ult were perfect. Yes, Faker could have ulted the fish, but Fizz would have e'd at which point Faker would have no choice but to flash and shadow out. Instead, he saves ult, mind games fizz e with his shadow then ults immediately after e then flashes out and hits the shurikens. So clean
Zed mains know that Zed isn't as hard as people make him out to be. His kit is quite simple, it's really up to the player to pull off the flashy plays.

Harry Kang It's pretty easy actually considering Zed just builds shredding items. BotRK, Cleaver, Youmuu's, and Last Whisper. Good luck building enough armor to not get popped with that build.

I only came here to tell this: Zed is a balanced champ that needs skill and has counterplay instead of Riven and Yasuo If you main this champion instead of those two you made a good choice

Vis Noga May be 1st, but not even the most impressive. He only wins because has QSS over Ryu, everyone forgets it. No QSS, & he would lose that 1v1 by far. Still impressive mechanics though, but QSS is Zed worst nightmare.

I wanted to ask if you intentionally overlooked Hai's "Kvothekaiser" Zed outplay vs Riven in the Korean Challenger server. I know there's thousands of great Zed plays out there, just wondering about that particular one, it was super world class. Thank you for so much amazing content.
Some of these plays were simply incredible and i see you've put a lot of effort in this, but some of these plays happen in normal games.. Right now i'm a plat 1 Zed main on Eune and i see these plays every 2 days or so. 1 of those kill was just simply a R E WQ basic. nothing special. Anyway, it's just really hard for a zed main to respect these plays. Great video though! I rate 8.5/10. i hope your channel grows and gets as big as these top 5 plays channels :) Keep up the good work and please do a wombo combo montage!
I feel like these plays right now are so much more better then the ones we see now. In my opinion we just don't need these type of outplays to succeed on zed which is why I miss the old league. But people can also say the ceiling is higher.
Saying they are better is a bit of a stretch in my opinion, many of the outplays that are seen here have obvious flaws, i dont know if youve ever seen one of laccerations outplays where he kills a rengar with 1-2 other people around and manages to so severly outplay them he hardly takes damage. Back then champions were simpler so ofc the outplays are gonna be simpler, theres much less to play around while now theres tons of things to take in to concideration, not to mention item differences. Even with all these factors i think the biggest one is how much the enemy players have progressed, its much harder to do these kinds of outplays now as the enemies react much better etc.
@@thomaspedersen6152 yeah that's a good point, but I genuinly believe before champions like Riven and zed did revolve around out plays and less burst potential unlike today where all you see is oneshots to kill an AD or even a tank to shut down the assassin. I guess it was a little bias for me to say these plays were better but they did hold a lot of value then what we see today.
Really nice montage feel like Dades play on ambition should have been higher as it was champions spring 2013 finals + one of the first major zed outplays.
Its a good montage with nice Zed plays. But some are really basic r-w-w-e-q-(flash)-r Combos or w-r-w-e-q-(flash)-r which are used when low health to always keep distance from enemies and thus are kind of basic. Good vid regardless :)

Really nice montage feel like Dades play on ambition should have been higher as it was champions spring 2013 finals + one of the first major zed outplays.
It's been awhile
Its a good montage with nice Zed plays. But some are really basic r-w-w-e-q-(flash)-r Combos or w-r-w-e-q-(flash)-r which are used when low health to always keep distance from enemies and thus are kind of basic. Good vid regardless :)
