2008 LS3 Corvette (stock) vs 2004 Corvette Z06 (intake/headers). 40ish roll. Visit out blog where we will catalog all of our Corvette Adventures! www.advettures.com
A stock 04 Z06 is door to door with a stock 08 LS3 so one with headers/intake should pull one so either there is something wrong that 08 isnt stock or the driver cant shift
craig thomas its more of a drivers race They both weight identical and the z06 makes 20-25 less depend on the exhaust option on the ls3 corvette Both are good drives the c6 should pull very slightly
@@stayslidewayz Headers and an intake do nothing. I know people like to say things like "headers really wake the car up" but they don't. I've run 2002-2004 Z06s with headers and exhaust in my showroom stock 01 Z06 (with 20 less hp to begin with) and they can't pull.
@@stayslidewayzThat logic makes no sense in terms of racing? Yes that means it’s not stock but it’s like saying you have a k&n drop in filter and a catback on your z and acting like that’s gonna really do something
@@Ranguvar13 yeah its wrong 100%. Base models have much shorter gears than the C6Z lol. Idk where buddy heard that from. C6 z’s hit 62mph in 1st gear. Base models barely cross 40
Yeah the C5Z has shorter gears than base (good for autocross, street) but I think C6Z and C7Z are taller than base of their gen (good for high HP, track) as you say@@willsull22
Remove the turn signal fluid and he probably would of won

LS3 is faster stock vs stock...
craig thomas no the ls6.had headers exhaust and intake
Can't beat the revs and the upper end pull on the ls3 with an ls6. It just don't breathe....even over the ls2 it has a broader torque curve.
bigkarl24 they don’t weigh the same
ls3 baby
Both stick shift?
Yes
and?
Yea, both manuals.
Makes sense, if both are stock, the LS3 has roughly 25 hp on the LS6 and they ran these couple of pulls pretty tight.
read bio z06 not stock

@@Carguylogan don't matter of they do nothing, he still has them installed and he is not stock. 🤙
@@stayslidewayz Sure. Now go look at the fast lists for bone stock C5 Z06 and 2008+ C6 (ls3). The ls3 is exactly the same.

Put the roof on...u wouldve pulled much harder too much drag
Hmm more like an LS2
ZO6 has shorter gears than a base model
Are they really? Damn. The Z’s hit 63 in first
@@willsull22 c6z or c7z maybe

Those Rims look like they are from an LS2 Vette, not an LS3.
those rims only came on LS3's lol
Those are ls3 3LT rims lmao
B
c6 ls3 > c5 z06
agree
In handling? No.
In 1/4 mile? Not according to the fast lists.
In looks? Again no.
Base c6 won't beat a c5 z06 in handling.
