The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) at Expo 2020

Video produced by international UN Volunteer Emanuel Foukou, from Sweden, who served as Public Information and Partnerships Officer with the UN Resident Coordinator’s Office in Cameroon for two years. Now he serves covering the Dubai Expo for the UN.
In this video, produced as part of UNV’s video contest in partnership with Kopernik and RICOH to showcase how volunteering contributes to the SDGs, he highlights how the UN in the United Arab Emirates recruited five UN Volunteers to serve at the UN Hub, where visitors can take part in panel discussions, art exhibits and film viewings about the SDGs.
On UN Day, UN Volunteers facilitated the UN Day Run, with participants from more than 20 nations; monitors also lit up throughout the Expo to promote the SDGs.
