I have the 8700k and I noticed unbearably high temps even with an AIO. So I did the unthinkable.. Using a Dr. delid tool, careful prying and replacing the thermal compound with liquid metal to reduce the distance between the IHS and chipset and create a better thermal bond. I used gasket sealer and clamped the IHS back down. Lo and behold, I get 60-65 degrees under full load stress test consistently. 10/10 would recommend a thermal replacement.
For everyone commenting about having similar specs and getting worse performance, here are a few tips in no particular position:
* Re-install Windows OS. I currently have the latest version of Windows 11.
* Make sure you have the latest graphics card driver installed.
* Overclock your CPU & GPU.
* Set Windows power settings to maximum.
* Configure your driver settings to remove all restrictions on your GPU. For example: unlimited cache, set threaded CPU to use all threads/cores, etc…
Im getting terrible performance in WZ2. I have 9700k with 2080 Super. CPU is OC to 4.6 I'm getting 90 to 99 percent usage. Drops my fps to 90-100.
me too. same hardware but no cpu OC. mostly 100 fps but much framedrops and stutterings. i´m going to hate this shit game. i use geforce experience to optimizes my game but i helps not very much :(
This can be this video game’s issue it is still in early development. When I played OG Warzone I was cracking 130 to 125 fps on pretty high settings
i7-9700k 4.9ghz
Rtx 2080 super, OC +71 core, +550 memory.
Avg 110-130fps currently.
@@BlueYouttubehow? I have the same graphics card but with the ryzen 7 3800x but cant even get past 100 fps
Same, I'm getting a choppy 30 fps on low settings.
Can you confirm that you're still getting these frames in the most recent WZ2 update on Al Mazrah? My frames have plummeted and trying to determine if its my 8700k or the game.
Same. I just checked GPU and CPU load and it appears to be CPU bottlenecked (GPU is like not higher than 50% load, which is very bad actually)
And yeah, as you can see in the benchmark his CPU is OC
@@Pinkamen Ended up conceding and upgrading to a 13600k. Something in the game changed to choke up the 8700k, so it wasn't worth it anymore.
How is that, man? I have the same i7 8700k processor, graphics card 3070, power supply 550 watts, processor frequency speed 4.7, activate dlss and the highest quality 2k. Get 70 frames, 50 and 40. How did I get very confused?
We’ll your cpu is holding back your gpu first of all . And 2 sounds like your pc isn’t optimized for gaming at all . Look up some fps optimizations for windows and gaming in 2022 and do all the things aha your not doing something because your getting shit fps with that gpu. I get 144 fps easy on my 3060 ti 5800x in warzone 2 , 200 in multiplayer 1080 p
Sheeehhh! I got a shit i5 9400f with 1660ti and playing on 1440p at 60-70 fps. Don’t ask me how, 😂😅
I have a 2080 super and I just got an i9 13900k do u think this will be bottlenecked or will I get good performance in warzone, looking for above 200 fps on low settings ?
Ur gpu is like mine no good enough
Id upgrade to a 3090 or 4080 tbf to be all as good as ur specs
Your bottlenecking your processor by a lot if you don’t overclock with this gpu(on 1080p)
Hello k want a question i buy i7 13700K, ( my First Intel ) u think 2080 SUPER GAMING X TRIO, Is fine for the CPU? Or better buy 3060 Ti?
Both cards are close in performance, however the 2080 super is cheaper and slightly faster (roughly 5 - 7 fps) in most games. Can’t go wrong with either one.
Im getting around 110/120fps on 1440p with dlss set to quality+max everything on my 2080+9900k
Is that fine ? No tuning in bios or nvidia control panel
Bro I have a ryzen 9 3900x and a 2080 and my frames are terrible on all low performance settings I get around 30-130 ? Help lmao
Hello . how are you doing ? I have an rtx 3070Ti and an i7 8700k I shoot at 85-100 fps
1080 ?
How is that, man? I have the same i7 8700k processor, graphics card 3070, power supply 550 watts, processor frequency speed 4.7, activate dlss and the highest quality 2k. Get 70 frames, 50 and 40. How did I get very confused?
Do i reicev a lot of bottlenecking with a 2080 and an i7-9700k?
In several CPU intensive games since it is a 8core/8 threaded processor.
@@DiplomatGaming is that 1440p gameplay?
i have a shitty i5 9400f just 70 to 80 fps avg with 1080ti at 50% usage
*55%* bootleneck
in the old warzone i was getting 110fps avg with the same cpu
thay should fix this bad optimization with the cpus in the next patch A.S.A.P
hey I'm running a r5 5600x and 2080 super but getting 90 fps at 1080p
not sure what is going on but seems off
Make sure you have the latest driver installed. You should get roughly the same performance as me.
i have a 3600x with a 2080 super and i sit around 90-109 ish at 1080p.
same here 2600X with 2080 Super 80-100 FPS @1080p
@@TheShamefuLL mee to what happen How is that, man? I have the same i7 8700k processor, graphics card 3070, power supply 550 watts, processor frequency speed 4.7, activate dlss and the highest quality 2k. Get 70 frames, 50 and 40. How did I get very confused?
@@estford My thinking is the game needs further optimization
I got a 2080 super and i get 60 fps on low Settings 1080p any help pls?
Make sure you have the latest graphics driver installed.
Bottleneck procesor
This video made me buy a 2080 super😂 thanks
Ha! That’s great! It’s an amazing card.
Im also running the 8700k, so perfect comparison💪
What price ?
@@gunslinga7077 370 euro
Very very impressive for that ancient CPU!
It’s far from ancient. It can keep up with the latest CPUs, especially when overclocked to 5ghz. I wouldn’t pair it with anything above the RTX 2080Ti.
@@DiplomatGaming I have 100% usage gpu 2k low, lol
that zimo virus spreads
DLSS on or off?
The graphics settings shows DLSS set to quality.
I think im Dumb, but the 2080 is at 99% load and the 8700k only on 40-60%.
Is the GPU a bottleneck or is the game shit xD ?
The game is poorly optimized. The GPU & CPU handle the game just fine; not really any bottleneck to speak of.
@@DiplomatGaming what would you rather upgrade if you have the option ? CPU or GPU ?
@@xEureka7 I wouldn’t with this rig. I purposely chose this CPU & CPU. Any higher will result in bottlenecks
@@Slayahplaya Depends on the resolution you’re gaming at. If you’re playing this game at 2560x1440, then you should get about 5 - 10 fps less than the 2080 super.
You always have to aim the GPU loads at 99%. It means it is working fully. Otherwise, if your CPU is at 99%, it will freeze and won't work properly. High CPU % is not good. On the other hand, higher % GPU usage is good. If the GPU is less than 99% and the CPU is like 90%, then it is bottlenecking the GPU.
this video made me buy my 2080s 😂
Lol. If you say so…
Cod mw 2 you got a free ?
No, this is COD Warzone 2.0 which is free-to-play.
@@DiplomatGaming did you change your warzone config file? options.3.cod22
i set RendererWorkerCount:0.0 to 7 ( i have 2080 super and i9-9900K CPU @ 3.60GHz , 32 GIG ram)
DMZ i have to set Video memory scale to 80%
and
Warzone 2 to 90%
just to get it playable
but they still stutter everyone 5 or so seconds.
how to set threaded CPU to use all threads/cores?
@@turinreza I did not modify any config file. The game is completely maxed out @ 1440p. Make sure all the shaders are fully compiled in the game menu before playing. Go to the bios and enable hyperthreading to use all 16 threads.
Lol, I have rtx 3080 and 9700k and I get 170-200 fps
