there are two types of geep people, those who put rubber ducks on the dash board and those who only have various levers and gauges... I'm definitely the 2nd kind
Looks fantastic. Know what would make it EVEN BETTER? :) Fans with small motors on them, that you could turn on/off with a function button. I think people would pay the extra cost to get that. I certainly would.
Maybe that'll come with DCC 2.0 - along with back-EMF-monitoring that the decoder uses to know when to send a notification that the engine needs to be refueled and 8-character alphanumeric addresses so that you can address your locomotive by roadname as well as roadnumber 😁
The air horn on that ATSF GP38u is likely a Lesle S-3. Most typically, Blomberg Ms were fitted to GP38-2s usually, so I am thinking this may be a standard Blomberg, but updated/retrofitted with the Blomberg-M style brake clasps on the inside faces.
I actually have a Southern GP38. It’s an older Atlas, but it’s very nice and similar in detail level. I bought it for only $150 with dcc (no sound). I’m going to get another GP38 later this year, Tennessee Alabama and Georgia railway 80.
I would like to order the Conrail gp38 with loksound dcc (RAP38528) but please help me with a few questions as I can’t get answers from your customer service: 1.) is it Loksound V5 2.) Does it have keep alive capacitors? 3.) Can it be programmed like an off the shelf v5 decoder - I’ve heard in reviews that it is kind of its own thing that is different from a regular v5 decoder. Thank you
Horns mentioned:
Southern had dual Nathan P3’s.
NS has dual P5’s
CSX has Leslie RS5T
Santa Fe has Leslie S3L.
Some really nice looking new Geeps there for sure!
Very nice looking models as usual.
Beautiful models. Well done guys.

Love the SCTV style opening graphic!
It’s great to see you guys having so much fun doing a video and great products too. I hope you come out with C&O GP38

@@DarkpawTheWolf That would be nice...but I would settle for cab windows that slide open.
Aurora has done that.
I like that idea but not all decoders can use them. The old Blue Box Proto2000 Alco FA’s however had belt driven fans.

On the Sound/DCC version - Function 21 - I did not expect that, well played Rapido, well played. Don't ever change!
Very beautiful models! Keep up the great job!
I received two of the Santa Fe GP-38's last week. Both are incredible runners and have great detail. Very happy with my decision to purchase them.
Rick Moranis called, he wants his suit back
I think it's a Doctor Who reference, specifically Jon Pertwee as the 3rd Doctor.
@@lukestevens8735 you got it.
Got my Penn Central, so impressive, now I want a second one.
I got mine in the mail last week, love it!

Those are really cool locomotives. Thanks for doing them.
I’m McLovin my new ATSF GP-38. It’s outstanding and my new favorite loco! Thanks, it was well worth the wait. :-)

I bought GP38 CSX 2013. Mind is blown I really like the Locomotive 😊
Jason channeling his inner Dr. Who…
Nobody expects the Spanish Acquisition!!!

SCTV for the win eh!! Just got my GP38 BNSF!! Sweet!!
Jason: you should always store your phasers with the safety "on". many thanks
Of course I needed a Penn Central one to run on my 1950s PRR layout... 🙄😆
Nice puffy shirt,,,,,,,,,,,,Seinfeld 😂😂😂
Last thing I expected from this channel was two Doctor Who cosplayers but I will ABSOLUTELY take it lol
Very impressive and handsome gp38 models, I personally am interested in picking up either a B&O or Penn Central example of this model.
Really cool!
Okay, well I was kind of thinking how nice it was to have the third Doctor present to us. I didn't expect that would HONESTLY be the intention.
Did I hear Star Wars??? Yes!
his day off and hes at the office ☠☠☠
Please keep the new intro for a little while - it's fantastic!
Any demos on the H1 Hudson’s anytime soon?
Are there any undec's available . . . lol. 🤣
I love the BN and BNSF GP38's that I received.
I need those truck frames as on the atsf to go under my GP9RM, the "modified" brake rigging on the 9RMs is wrong.
When he mentioned Mr Powers I'm thinking like Austin Powers yeah baby yeah
Wish you made n scale stuff as well.
Cuando van hacer la ALCO rsd12 ? le ponen los boguies de la rsc14 a la rs11 y listo
Is there an Undecorated Version?

What would you even call a foam enthusiast, since "foamer" is already taken?
Foamhead? That just sounds like an insult
😂
On my weird scale (0-9.9) this is a 7.7, not bad, uneven…😺
Where'd the Who Doctor go? 🤣
Yo no quiero hacer la modificación de los boguies es mejor que este homologado por rápido , ustedes
could you folks sell me one of your phasers? I see that you guys don't need them as much as I do.
Nope. Space 1999.
