    Thanks for a graet lecture. I am a little confused about the RNFL symmetry. My understanding was that the symmetry is between the right and the left eye, not between the superior and inferior part of the same eye as you said at 10:50. That is why the symmetry is given in the table section as one number 55% under both eyes. Please comment.

    • @InsightOphthalmology
      @InsightOphthalmology  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You are right! Thank you for pointing it out :)
      I meant superior and inferior quadrants of both eye( which I understand is confusing)
      RNFL Symmetry as you said is comparing the RNFL in various quadrants in both eyes( binocular comparision)

    Pls Ma'am, I'm confused abt did Signal strength; d only one u spoke of were dat of d Cirrus, Spectral, and Avanti OCT, how can we determine d signal strength of other OCT machines? Den, are d colour codings the same in all OCT machines ? cos wen I saw d OPTOVUE's RNFL tomogram map, I got confused. Thank u

    Thank u very much Ma'am, really, thank u? These normal parameters in tabular form, are dey d same in all OCT machines? Will d printout show diz tabulated normal parameters?

    • @InsightOphthalmology
      @InsightOphthalmology  ปีที่แล้ว

      No that is for teaching, the normal values are not seen in the printout

  • @animavn8683
    @animavn8683 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    What is the normal range of disc area on OCT ONH?

    • @InsightOphthalmology
      @InsightOphthalmology  ปีที่แล้ว

      Glad you liked it.
      There isn't a fixed value for disc area. It is machine specific and depends on the normative data for that machine.
