Please don't forget to carry 10th class certificate for Dob proof ,otherwise they will make ECR passport and in future you will get in trouble if you are going to pursue some education or on employment.

One cannot use PAN CARD as address proof coz it's not mentioned on the same.carry PHOTO ID proof for address . AND if you have passed 10 standard and above, carry the marksheet in original for ECNR passport
If 7th pass or less then does he/she need to show his marksheet of the last class which he passed?

I will tell you real process
1. Apply online and chose a appointment date in passport office
2. Go to office give your photo, documents and give information why you need a passport (very short interview)
3. Wait for police to call you for verification (15 to 30 day)
4. When police call you go to police station dress like a poor person but smart (if you look very rich or dumb they will ask for more bribe) give no more then 500rs
5. Wait 15 to 30 days it will be delivered to you

I m working in regional passport office Delhi
1- U gave incomplete information regarding documents, for ECNR passport u have to take HSC or higher certificate
2- can't use pan as a adress proof
3-for minor child annexure C or D is needed
4- U don't need to take submitted application form, msg is sufficient
I Completed the passport verification process at post office on 17th may and since then the status showing passport application is under review at regional passport office and also I didn't got call for police verification so what does it mean . Is my application not send to psk yet by post office or some other problem is there.
@@amitnikam6919 may be ur post office is running in offline mode, in offline mode verification is done in RPO, that's y showing that status, after verification in RPO u can see status like police verification initiated after that u can contact ur police station
