The hit boxes of the boxes are actually big enough that if your fast enough you can hit all three. If you slow it down to 0.25% speed you can see he does the bottom two like he would with any other two wide (or in this case, tall) block, but he does it on an angle so when he finishes he can swipe the blade up so it just barely reaches the top box.
