Outdoor Education 2014 Washington CUSD 200

On May 22-23, 5th grade students from Washington Elementary School in CUSD 200 (Wheaton, Illinois) went to Covenant Harbor, Lake Geneva, for Outdoor Education. This trip was well deserved and all the fifth grade students learned a lot and had a great time.

Covenant Harbor is located on 54 scenic, wooded acres in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin. Covenant Harbor provides hands-on educational experiences through the Snake Road Adventure Center program. Experiences are designed to meet many "Common Core" educational standards and are led by trained staff utilizing many activities including canoeing, archery, orienteering, evening activities, ropes courses, the climbing tower, zip lines and more. Programs vary in length from one to multiple days. Covenant Harbor is a year round facility and open to schools, corporations, universities, clubs and church groups.
