I always love wearing black leather clothing and feel its apart of who i am and my own personal look from other's. I always feel much more confident, powerful and happier when wearing leather than any other clothing ive worn. Black 🖤 leather just makes me feel more me.

The outfit is a lot like mine (long black leather coat as a dress plus black leather boots), and I certainly agree that making the world a better place and being kind to others is important. I love being friendly, making friends, I tend to smile a lot. I'm assertive and stand up for myself when need be, but I'm only ever bossy in roleplay situations with my boyfriend (he loves it). I come from an affluent "old money" family and I like to donate to charities and directly to the needy (never for clout, I always try to be anonymous), but I feel sad knowing that even if I gave away every krona I own, I wouldn't even come close to solving large scale problems. So, I do what I can.

Hi! I'm a different person (obviously) but I'd like to answer your question if it's okay as for how it relates to me. I'm from Sweden but currently studying at a university in the northeastern US, and I've enjoyed discovering how much I love leather. My favorite outfit is long leather coat + leather lace up boots (both are in traditional black), I wear the coat as a dress (even though it looks nothing like a dress, but I actually like that it's obviously a coat). I wear this outfit all the time, I wear it out and at home, even wear it to bed! It's suspected that I have a very mild form of autism as one symptom is wanting to wear the same outfit everyday. I have not experienced summer in a leather outfit, although I imagine I will be quite uncomfortable (although I'll do my best to manage), summers in Pennsylvania have reached over 40 degrees before and with very high humidity (I imagine I'll be humming the theme song from the lava side of Hailfire Peaks this summer at times). Funnily enough, I've gotten the Trinity comparison which is cool, because she's a tomboy like I am (I'm quite good at archery, and always have enjoyed it, and I love videogames). I have short hair, in a Louise Brooks style bob (I know, I'm silly for mentioning it since you can see my profile pic, haha). Hopefully I communicated everything effectively! I'm Swedish and English is my second language, I'm sure you can tell I am not a native speaker of English.

I'm like that with every kind of outfit I've become obsessed with (this one feels the most "right" for me, if that makes sense). I wrote you, D.e.n.i_C, on January 31st a mail describing my observations about power of leather in general; I shall sum its contents up and present it to a larger audience. For me, as someone who is attracted to leather (and to Levi's ex '80s-'00s), there are two components of power. I shall sum it up by "everyone can wear basically everything but only a few can do it with dignity (as you do, too)". Because: I saw and see many people in leather, but I lose attraction once I remark or have the impression that the person has no character, no individuality. Even girls: I see a pair of leather jeans on a girl but I lose interest once I see that "she is just like others". Leather can then lose its power otherwise correctly described by you. That second component arises from education. I shall describe my sense with the following metaphor: Power of leather alone is like an unloaded firearm: it looks dangerous but can do no harm. Combined with the power of education, the aforesaid arm gets charged and can exercise its power. Same goes for leather: if someone educated, with an individuality not based on any material does wear leather, that person is much more attractive for me, evokes indeed interest. Said differently for all those "fetishists" and admirers: would you admire that person even if it had no more leather? Would then remain something from the character? The last sentence is very beautiful indeed ... using that (or those) power(s) for good ...
This is fascinating. I've never thought about why I give the first impressions that I do, I thought it was my short hair and assertive personality (I'm the "stands up for herself" kind of assertive, not the "mean girl" kind). I love leather, my favorite outfit is my long leather coat (worn as a dress) with my leather boots (I'm actually was wearing that when I took my profile pic), and I have noticed that there is connotations derived from the outfit, I've been told on more than a few occasions that my personality doesn't match my outfit, in that I come across as "too nice" to pull off this look, whatever that means. It might be that I'm friendly and I smile a lot and like to talk to people. I have noticed that wearing leather has brought out my more dominant side in my relationship with my boyfriend (he likes it). Also it's kind of allowed me to embrace being a tomboy as well (I'm really good at archery, better than most of the boys). You would be indeed a person I would like to meet closer because there is a contrast, there is a personality not following certain models/associations! Leather is then part of your wardrobe but you do not base on it. Me too, I have a personality which opposes the general associations with leather, nonetheless, I love wearing it! And so do you: you have an individuality, and as far as I see, a well educated and intellectual character. So you fuse indeed both components of power of leather and for my taste, leather comes to its full power on you ... If you do not do it anyway, I recommend you wearing black leather gloves whenever you have your (shorter or longer) leather gloves.
@@croqueGrec09 Ironically enough, I used to have leather gloves I wore in the winter when I was younger (like 12-14 years old) but I outgrew them and they sadly no longer fit, and this was before I discovered my love of leather clothing.
