Sir, how are we supposed to find v1 after this? The differential equation obtained is an equation relating d^2l/dt^2 to 1/(l^3) which I have no idea how to solve... is there any other way to find it without using energy conservation - like just using kinematic equations and calculus?

Yes you can use angular momentum conservation in some cases but not in all. One more thing is very important to understand that deep knowledge makes any question simple and it is always useful. Thank you

sir please review question 10 physics paper1 the answer is 3 not 1, i think because when you have error of 1 percent in 2 quantities.
