The question is if he can make it with just two jumps (as air slash has too little manoeuvrability afterwards to be helpful) and, based on my experience, he wouldn’t make it. Maybe if you had thrown the bomb upwards on your first jump maybe it would have worked (the thing is that the bomb makes you fall back and therefore prevent you from reaching the finish)
I feel like more characters could have made it but for some reason there were no attempts like the various Link's with damage on them. Also Charizard isn't in the video and Shulk didn't even use Jump (although I doubt it would have helped). Also Kirby didn't eat Shulk and use Jump either, which I guess is something these videos no longer do.
If these Jump Challenges were with Canon abilities then those with Infinite Jumps like Samus ans Kirby and those who can fly like Ganondorf, Sephiroth and Kazuya and so on would be Top Tier
Also also curious about Mythra air-dodging before side-B. Post lag shouldn't be an issue, since we saw Sheik able to act almost immediately out of air-dodge earlier in the video.
You were right about Plant(debunked in the discord), and Hero can make it even without Hocus Pocus, but Falco side b just has too much ending lag to jump again and doesn’t quite make it far enough. Even then he wouldn’t have made it to the top Mythra airdodging would not help because all you could do is a neutral airdodge(which doesn’t give any extra horizontal movement), anything else would just give too much lag. And again, she would not reach the top, her vertical recovery is just too short
Oh man. A bunch of fighters weren't able to go high or far enough in this maze. 🤔 I feel like that game needs to work on different movements to accomplish challenges like that. Anyway you should make a video called, "Who can make it? Pi symbol lava maze" You know the Pi symbol in math? Try to do something like that! 👍💡
Id say lucario shouldn’t count since you need to go into the lava to get the damage so technically he should fail. Link uses own attacks to self damage so thats ok.
