One of the best bill hicks stories I've heard was told by another great stand-up comedian Marc Maron, Marc heard this screaming very loud screaming, and it was Bill screaming down a mic saying "I'm Fucking poet I'm a Fucking poet, complete silence from the crowd until a lady at the back repiled "tell us a poem then"! Miss you Bill.
I'm curious if Steve knows the person or people behind the "Bill Hicks" channel on TH-cam, who are claiming to be him in the comments section of many of Bill's videos using his brother's likeness/image?
The quality of unreleased material doesn't matter to me. As a Hicks fan, just to listen or see him do anything unheard or known material differently would be enough for me to want it releasing.

Literally the biggest tragedy to happen to the world was being robbed of someone so special as Bill Hicks. Way ahead of his time. We needed him now not the 80's. It's good to hear that his message was heard

I doubt there is any money to be made by repeatedly releasing the same stale old routines that have been recycled and remixed. The lack of new material from the estate is evidence that Bill Hicks wasn't a particularly prolific artist.
@@filiplugo7630 In your opinion as I like to revisit his stuff, and at least his style of comedy was far more outreaching than most other comedians as he made you think and didn't just want to tickle your funny bones, he was a prophet (and a lot has come true) but also a commentator on life. He died at what felt like the age of 45 but he was still only a young 32, so would have put out an abundance of material as he, unfortunately, died while moving towards his prime.
