I love how in the beginning of the song it starts off with like apprehensiveness and fear to take off and then as the song progresses it's like okay you're in the air, feel that ? Feel the freedom ? Enjoy it. It just syncs perfectly with how I felt playing this part. I was panicking trying not to crash or lose the elevation and when I got the hang of it it was an amazing feeling to completing the mission.
I quickly figured out the controls to the point where I didn't even need the fires to stay up when I played, but then again it was similar enough to Mario 64's flying hat....dear god I feel old.

The design, the music, the characters and the story just all came together in such a beautiful way. I want Ubisoft to do it again. Take the time and really make some f**king special. Make me fall in love again.
what did you think of Origins? I think it was a step in the right direction for sure, but not as amazing as this game. Assassin's Creed 2 will always be the best game, because Desmond and Ezio were paralleled as two characters reluctantly stepping up into heroic roles to take on a larger evil. Beautiful soundtrack, absolutely incredible vocals in this. Jesper Kyd has immense talent, that's for sure. This is quite nostalgic as well, Assassin's Creed II was definitely the most engaging, emotional and immersive for me. Assassin's Creed, AC II, and AC: Brotherhood were the best games in the saga for me.
It's sad that I had to spent a 100% of my focus on trying to pilot the damn flying machine. I wasn't able to properly listen to the background music so I only got to discover this jewel among pearls after the fact :'(
Origins came really close for the feeling of playing a good Assassin's Creed game for the first time... but nothing compares to climbing into the flying machine and cruising out over Venice at night.

Edward's story is equally intriguing, especially the ending when he's turned from a selfish arrogant pirate to a man who actually cares abt something for once ! The way he looks back and sees all the friends he lost in the way❤️ makes me cry and gives me chills at the same time
The voice to this track just signifies the highs and lows of ezios story and all that he stands for. The new games (besides lacking music like this) missed out on the message to us, that life should be enjoyed and should be used to enlighten rather than cloud the minds of those we love and hold dear

I had friggin' goosebumps, that lastet even ten to fifteen minutes later, when the mission already was over!.....these were games with meaning and education...these were the real deal! We need games like these back nowadays!!!!! Legends never die!

Anyone else saw that they put the flying machine in AC3 too? It appears during a homestead conversation and Connor gets in it the same way Ezio does. Though it crashes lol. While that is a nice nod to AC2, It's also a nice nod to actual history where Da Vinci always made some intentional errors in his designs to make sure no one replicates
this is one of the best tracks ever made, funny part is that it actually never plays in the game. when you do fly over venice and do that part it only plays for about 10 seconds and switches to another song, pretty weird.
