Sure i've tried grasshoppers before. When I was a kid me and my friends explored the "almost harvest " ricefields right after the rain stopped thats when the grasshoppers were too wet to fly so they just stuck on the rice branch made them easy to catch. We stir fried it, deep fried it, even cooked it into peyek.
December in Indonesia is really just rain and rain, can't expect much adventure in this season. but still, the local experience is really interesting as the adventures!
