40.Day 2024, Day 3: Is God's vision your passion? Pastor Edwin Lam

This is Day 3 of LoveSingapore’s 40.Day 2024 prayer devotional, featuring Pastor Edwin Lam, Senior Pastor of New Life Baptist Church, and the Chairman of the Singapore Baptist Convention.
PRAYER POINTERS:
1. Pray for a heightened sense of the Lord’s Coming to inject an urgency within us to live purposefully in the right now. Stir our will to eagerly keep watch, because we do not know the day or hour of Your coming. (Matthew 25:1-13)
2. Ask the Lord for a heart prepared to share the Gospel passionately and often. “But in your hearts revere Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect.” (1 Peter 3:15)
3. Speak blessings over the Singapore Church. Pray that the Church will wholly abide in Christ in order to bear eternal fruit: “Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit by itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in me. I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing.” (John 15:4-5)
