      it looks like a Union Pacific car but it says on the car Central Pacific but still a cool railcar it might have worked for Union Pacific so that is why it has the Union Pacific paint scheme

    • @kennethhanks6712
      @kennethhanks6712 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It was built for Union Pacific by Pullman Standard 1953 as an office car. Sold private and in excursion service in the '90s current owner named car "Promontory Point" to commorate completion first transcontinental. "Road name" Central Pacific could be owner discretion or because UP rather "touchy" about use by others of their corporate title.

    1:40 and 5:40 Pullman Standard built 1950 5 Double Bedroom Buffet Lounge Observation "Royal Street" which was part of L & N contribution to combined SOU and L & N New York to New Orleans Crescent. Pullman Standard built 1956 for Seaboard "Hollywood Beach" 5 Double Bedroom Buffet Lounge w/unique (only 3 built) "sun lounge" w/curved windows into roof-basically a dome car without a dome!
    These cars now privately owned in excursion service.
