BSA Bantam recommission

A fairly rare 175cc even back when I got mine. It was my first motorcycle bought second hand in 1965. Early version upside down forks Ha Ha but no damping of course, but it handle just fine for the times. WIpac electics with direct lighting were a bit feeble to say the least. A car pulled out on me and wrecked it , my first SMIDSY, bent the down tube and put the front wheel back to the engine. Mine was black with a cream side on the tank with a cockeral motif on the side of the tank. I am so pleased to see this model again. Well done for keeping it going. (Dave in the UK)

Very nice find Tony. Very original, just how I like them. Looks like the engine was refreshed and then it was put away. Fired up very nicely on the electronic ignition.
