If they went the same speed the Cannada one and Tornado would win since they have the inner line most of the time
These double header races are amazing. Could this hint at a massive double header race with multiple duos going head to head. Maybe even speed tests and crazy challenges

5:27 Dominion of New Zealand I believe has unfortunately been scrapped, or maybe not, correct me if I'm wrong
Bittern was renamed and renumbered to Dominion of New Zealand for a while, but yes Dominion of New Zealand has been scrapped
I love how he calls dominion of Canada in his previous vids Canadian one

Wow, you can tell at the beginning of the race, Flying Scotsman and Tornado were very determined.
Nevada actually the Tornado would still win because it has the inner track
I saw the Flying Scotsman at didcot and Swindon on the 15th June!
Streamlining doesn't do much if it's behind the other engine. Kinda an oversight there LaserJet. (Even if it's a game, it still bugs me)
Just a heads up, the peppercorn A1s weren't Gresley's locos. Still looks stunning. Great video!

Aw man: I wanted Scotsman to win (perhaps if you used Mallard instead of UoSA, he might've). Still a very nice vid though, and yes: Scotsman and Tornado look quite alike. :)

Flying Scotsman was originally an A1. She was rebuilt into an A3 sometime after she did 100mph.

@ZanderTignor I know but Tornado had to be pushed pretty hard to get to 100mph. Maybe she could do a bit more but the A3's could only just about manage 108mph so given the Peppercorn A1s and the A3s are very well matched to eachother it's likely she can't go much faster.

Careful when looking at the Gresley and Peppercorn A1s. There is quite a difference . Nice Video though. (Evening Star vs Bodmin please)

But if u ever do see this Oliver, please do arace between the Union Pacific Big Boy n City of Truro, the Union Pacific Challenger vs. City of Truro, the Union Pacific Big Boy vs. Duchess of Sutherland, the Union Pacific Challenger vs. the Duchess of Sutherland, and the Duchess of Sutherland vs. City of Truro
Tornado’s class, the new A1 Pacific, was designed by Arthur Peppercorn not Gresley. Also Dominion of New Zealand was scrapped in the 1960s, but her name plate was saved and used on the engine 4464 Bittern.
Dwight D. Eisenhower (originally called Golden Shuttle) and Dominion of Canada (originally called Osprey) were renamed after World War II and both now reside in North America; they were donated as presents to their respective country across the Atlantic. Dwight D. Eisenhower is in the National Railroad Museum in Michigan and Dominion of Canada is in the Canadian Railway Museum in Montréal. Both are on static display.

Does it make a difference if you put the A4 in the front vs in the back? (Theoretically I'd imagine putting a streamlined loco first would reduce overall drag as it would "shield" the unstreamlined loco, but I'm not sure if TS simulates this)

Dwight D Eisenhower was a General in ww2 they name a4 locomotive for him he used that train in ww2

The streamlining wont work when the A4 is in the back because the air is getting hit by the A3 + the A1 first. Oh well 😂😂

Was it based on which was the fastest A4 from the A4 races? Perhaps a different A4 would make the difference.

Apparently dominion of New Zealand was Bittern. Recently probably a few years ago Bittern changed its name to dominion of New Zealand. Have a look on wiki or something reliable.

Put half of your trains on one track and the other half on another track and then race, and have them on 200% power
