Tell me, is God really a name? Is God the personal name of the Maker of the universe? In Exodus 20:7 (Third Commandment), In Judaism at the Torah, it says - "Thou shalt not take the Name of Yahweh our Elohim in vain: for Yahweh will not hold him guiltless that take His Name in vain." At the King James Bible, it says - "Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord thy God in vain: for the Lord will not hold him guiltless that take His name in vain." So, what is the correct statement? Doesn't it obviously state correctly at the Torah? . God is not a name, neither is Lord or Lord God. They are titles.

In 2014 I cried out to God to help me because I was being tormented by demonic entities that did not give me rest day and night. I opened a door to them through unforgiveness toward my mother whom I had a turbulent relationship with throughout my life. The poison of unforgiveness was eating at my heart and soul causing me to be bitter, sad, depressed, angry and lost. At that time I did not know much or anything about Jesus. Then one day it got too much for me to handle and I cried out to God to help me. I was desperate. In the next few months my life began to change. I felt the presence of Jesus in my room asking me to forgive my mom, and to also forgive myself because I too caused much hurt. Coming from a Jewish background, it was almost taboo to speak about Him. During the time of my unforgiveness and bitterness I was being harassed by demonic spirits that I could not see but I could sense. They caused me to have sleep paralysis, be depressed, angry and kept me up at night. One day someone had dropped off a flier at my door and I just took it and put it by my bed, not thinking too much about it. Then in the evening when I was feeling so down, my eyes glanced over this flier and there was a scripture about the love of Jesus. It was a short and to the point scripture verse but the words were so powerful, my soul knew it was the truth. And when I read those words, they penetrated through all the pain and confusion and there was a glimmer of hope beginning to bubble up in me. So during my sleep paralysis, I heard a voice inside my spirit telling me to pray to “Jesus Christ, Yeshua”. I could not move my body or my mouth, but as the words “Help me Jesus, Help me Yeshua '' formulated in my mind, whatever entity was pinning me down to the bed lifted off immediately and I was able to move again. I ran outside and called my husband on the phone crying because I had never experienced anything like this. This began my journey with the Lord. He spoke to me in my spirit and told me to “Arise” out of bed when I was so down and depressed. He showed me that there is hope and His name is powerful. It was a process and a journey of sanctification and as I began reading about Jesus, and his life, the more I fell in love with Him. I knew He is the Messiah our people (the Jewish people) had denied for so long. I still did not have a bible at that time and did not give my life to Him at that point, because I just didn't know what I needed to do to be saved. During this time of being unsaved, the devil tempted me in so many ways and I ended up committing sins that were atrocious and an abomination. BUT GOD ALMIGHTY, JESUS CHRIST did not give up on me. In 2015 I felt His presence even stronger and I began repenting of my past sins and the Lord began closing doors that needed to be closed and opening new doors that needed to be opened in my life. In December of 2016 I felt in my spirit the Lord speaking to me asking me to get baptized and to get a Bible and to start reading His Word. And I obeyed. After I was baptized and received the Holy Spirit, I began to be guided into all truth. Things I was oblivious to previously as being sinful, God was showing me through the Holy Spirit that I was deceived and I needed to let them go so I could serve Him. One example was the participation of Halloween. As a saved believer, I could no longer participate in this demonic occult practice. It was like a sharp sword of conviction in my heart. I LOVE the Lord so much because He transformed my heart and life completely and in such a gentle loving Fatherly way. I am a completely different person today than I was 10 years ago because of His Love for me. I desire to please Him and to obey Him and to spend one day eternity with Him. He gave His life for me and for many people and He wants to save us from being separated from Him for eternity and from going to the pits of Hell. I just give Him the Glory, Honor, Power and Blessings for the miracles He has done in my life and the miracles He can and wants to do in every person's life. To God be the Glory. Amen

It was a vision of himself watching me with his loving eyes on me. He looked over at me from where he was sitting in a chair with the most loving caring smile, like he had always been watching me…even before I came to know him. Even more than fatherly, it was a motherly kind of love, not as if to say “what are you doing today?” but “how are you doing?” He really cared about me like my own mother would, I was surprised to see that kind of love. I knew immediately that’s how he watched everyone, with the care of both a father and a mother. He smiled and without moving his mouth, I heard him say “I will never leave you.” A few days later, I had two repeated dreams of that vision, and I heard this verse immediately after it both times: Psalms 32 8I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with my loving eye on you. Jesus wants to pour out his heart to us: Proverbs 1 23If you had repented at my rebuke, then surely I would have poured out my thoughts to you; I would have made my teachings known to you. Psalms 25 14The Lord confides in those who fear him. Amos 4 He reveals his thoughts to mankind. Jeremiah 33:3 ‘Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.’ Isaiah 45 I would not have told the people of Israel to seek me, if I could not be found. Jeremiah 29 11For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. 12Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. 13You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. 14I will be found by you,” declares the Lord. Jeremiah 10:23 23Lord, I know that people’s lives are not their own; it is not for them to direct their steps. Psalms 37 4Take delight in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart. 5Commit your way to the Lord; trust in him and he will do this. Matthew 6:8 Your Father knows what you need before you ask him. These verses really helped me move my fear/respect/need for attention away from humans and over to God: Isaiah 2 22Stop trusting in mere humans, who have but a breath in their nostrils. Why hold them in esteem? Mathew 10 28Do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather, be afraid of the One who can destroy both soul and body in hell. 10The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. Proverbs 8 13To fear the Lord is to hate evil; I hate pride and arrogance, evil behavior and perverse speech. psalms 86 5You, Lord, are forgiving and good, abounding in love to all who call to you. Jeremiah 33:9 They will be in awe and will tremble at the abundant prosperity and peace I provide. 1 Peter 5:7 Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you. Psalms 53 2God looks down from heaven on all mankind to see if there are any who understand, any who seek God. 1 Chronicles 28 Acknowledge the God of your fathers, and serve him with wholehearted devotion and with a willing mind, for the Lord searches every heart and understands every desire and every thought. If you seek him, he will be found by you; but if you forsake him, he will reject you forever. 10Consider now, for the Lord has chosen you! When we sin, we partner with demons. When we’ve given into them and been a slave to them in this life, they own us for eternity. In hell, we are on their turf -outside of God’s protection. They hate us. Torture is their game. Torture did not originate with man, but demons. Do not partner with the demon of lust, demon of anger, demon of addiction…etc. These are not just innocent temptations we all have; anyone who has had sleep paralysis has briefly met the demon/s that will own them forever in hell. God uses dreams to warn us: Job 33 14For God does speak-now one way, now another- though no one perceives it. 15In a dream, in a vision of the night, when deep sleep falls on people as they slumber in their beds, 16he may speak in their ears and terrify them with warnings, 17to turn them from wrongdoing and keep them from pride, 18to preserve them from the pit, their lives from perishing by the sword. ……..29“God does all these things to a person- twice, even three times- 30to turn them back from the pit, that the light of life may shine on them. James 4 7Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. 8Come near to God and he will come near to you. Where is hell? The center of the Earth. Scientists say Earth’s core is 12,000 degrees Fahrenheit. Job 26 5“The dead are in deep anguish, those beneath the waters and all that live in them. Psalms 73 19How suddenly are they destroyed, completely swept away by terrors! Ezekiel 18 Are my ways unjust, people of Israel? Is it not your ways that are unjust? psalms 19 12But who can discern their own errors? We are always on his mind, he cares and thinks about us continually, as a Father cares about his child. In 2014 I cried out to God to help me because I was being tormented by demonic entities that did not give me rest day and night. I opened a door to them through unforgiveness toward my mother whom I had a turbulent relationship with throughout my life. The poison of unforgiveness was eating at my heart and soul causing me to be bitter, sad, depressed, angry and lost. At that time I did not know much or anything about Jesus. Then one day it got too much for me to handle and I cried out to God to help me. I was desperate.
In the next few months my life began to change. I felt the presence of Jesus in my room asking me to forgive my mom, and to also forgive myself because I too caused much hurt. Coming from a Jewish background, it was almost taboo to speak about Him. During the time of my unforgiveness and bitterness I was being harassed by demonic spirits that I could not see but I could sense. They caused me to have sleep paralysis, be depressed, angry and kept me up at night. One day someone had dropped off a flier at my door and I just took it and put it by my bed, not thinking too much about it. Then in the evening when I was feeling so down, my eyes glanced over this flier and there was a scripture about the love of Jesus. It was a short and to the point scripture verse but the words were so powerful, my soul knew it was the truth. And when I read those words, they penetrated through all the pain and confusion and there was a glimmer of hope beginning to bubble up in me. So during my sleep paralysis, I heard a voice inside my spirit telling me to pray to “Jesus Christ, Yeshua”. I could not move my body or my mouth, but as the words “Help me Jesus, Help me Yeshua '' formulated in my mind, whatever entity was pinning me down to the bed lifted off immediately and I was able to move again. I ran outside and called my husband on the phone crying because I had never experienced anything like this. This began my journey with the Lord. He spoke to me in my spirit and told me to “Arise” out of bed when I was so down and depressed. He showed me that there is hope and His name is powerful. It was a process and a journey of sanctification and as I began reading about Jesus, and his life, the more I fell in love with Him. I knew He is the Messiah our people (the Jewish people) had denied for so long. I still did not have a bible at that time and did not give my life to Him at that point, because I just didn't know what I needed to do to be saved. During this time of being unsaved, the devil tempted me in so many ways and I ended up committing sins that were atrocious and an abomination. BUT GOD ALMIGHTY, JESUS CHRIST did not give up on me. In 2015 I felt His presence even stronger and I began repenting of my past sins and the Lord began closing doors that needed to be closed and opening new doors that needed to be opened in my life. In December of 2016 I felt in my spirit the Lord speaking to me asking me to get baptized and to get a Bible and to start reading His Word. And I obeyed. After I was baptized and received the Holy Spirit, I began to be guided into all truth. Things I was oblivious to previously as being sinful, God was showing me through the Holy Spirit that I was deceived and I needed to let them go so I could serve Him. One example was the participation of Halloween. As a saved believer, I could no longer participate in this demonic occult practice. It was like a sharp sword of conviction in my heart.
I LOVE the Lord so much because He transformed my heart and life completely and in such a gentle loving Fatherly way. I am a completely different person today than I was 10 years ago because of His Love for me. I desire to please Him and to obey Him and to spend one day eternity with Him. He gave His life for me and for many people and He wants to save us from being separated from Him for eternity and from going to the pits of Hell. I just give Him the Glory, Honor, Power and Blessings for the miracles He has done in my life and the miracles He can and wants to do in every person's life. To God be the Glory. Amen
Powerful testimony. Thank you for sharing with us. I was an 18 years church goer and dead in my sins. I knew that I wasn't a Christian. I found my Saviour in 2019. It is such a journey walking with Him.

A month ago, Jesus gave me the most precious gift I could ever ask for. It was a vision of himself watching me with his loving eyes on me. He looked over at me from where he was sitting in a chair with the most loving caring smile, like he had always been watching me…even before I came to know him. Even more than fatherly, it was a motherly kind of love, not as if to say “what are you doing today?” but “how are you doing?” He really cared about me like my own mother would, I was surprised to see that kind of love. I knew immediately that’s how he watched everyone, with the care of both a father and a mother. He smiled and without moving his mouth, I heard him say “I will never leave you.”
A few days later, I had two repeated dreams of that vision, and I heard this verse immediately after it both times:
